Aspira Yorkton Crossing Retirement Living
My mother moved in to Yorkton crossing in the fall. She loves it there she feels safe, and when not feeling well has lots of people checking up on her. She loves the food and they do so much for the clients, every other day somebody or group is visiting them. She feels very cared for there. We are glad we found this place for her.

Aspira Yorkton Crossing Retirement Living
Ever since Aspira/Sienna took over Yorkton Crossing, the place has gone downhill. Due to the deliberate shorting of staff on their part the seniors living there no longer receive the quality of care they deserve. Several staff members are being abused by a company that couldn't care less about their rights as workers and as human beings. Think about that one. Now, although they don't see it as a staff shortage based on their corporate decisions, seniors are waiting longer than ever to receive even basic care from what's left of a staff roster who are scrambling to keep up. Several seniors want to move out! Think about that one too! Their families want to take this to the news but are terrified to do so as they're afraid of Aspira/Sienna.Seniors feel abused and neglected now but don't blame the staff for it. They blame upper management. They're crying for the return of Matt, the last good manager they had before the place turned into a circus. Sienna hides behind Aspira as a name because Sienna has a string of lawsuits against them in Ontario for the very same problems that's going on in Saskatchewan. This is an abusive company run by bullies who deliberately put profit before people. Don't bring your loved ones to any of their facilities until these rats are kicked out!

Aspira Yorkton Crossing Retirement Living
Sienna (also known as Aspira) is run only with profit in mind. They don't care about the seniors, nor their families, nor the people that work there. Seniors are neglected due to the lack of staff they have at the Yorkton Crossing location in Saskatchewan. Staff are highly stressed out because of it. They're also stressed due to the HR's refusal to put humanity before greed. Several workers are scheduled to be laid off as Sienna looks to close a wing of theirs known as The Arbor. The Arbor is equipped to handle special care seniors - unlike the rest of Yorkton Crossing. Sienna has lied to the seniors and their family that the moving of seniors out of the Arbor will give better care to them. This isn't true because there will be staff layoffs that will increase the already overburdened workload the staff are already experiencing. Overall, the seniors are already neglected because there isn't enough staff to keep up. It's now going to get worse. Yorkton Crossing as a whole isn't properly equipped and staffed to handle the residents. Someone will get hurt, possibly killed, because there aren't enough safety measures in place to make sure this doesn't happen. Sienna cares only about one thing - profit. They care nothing about the people they're supposed to be servicing. Sienna has several lawsuits filed against them by families who've lost seniors in their care facilities for the very same thing. They've lost many and are in the middle of many more. I also know more lawsuits are pending, even out of Saskatchewan. Sienna doesn't learn because they don't care. Seniors are being abused, hurt, and neglected because of a badly run company who refuses to listen to concerned families and staff.
