What a blast from the past! I remember going here after clubbing at Phoenix. Their chicken and ribs are the best! Soo good!

Alex the owner is always so friendly and efficient when my husband and I come after a show downtown. We always order the Rib and fries with rib sauce, half chicken meal and hot chicken wings. Everything always tastes delicious and so comforting.

I used go there 25 years ago, but I left Toronto, but I visit on 2021, wish go there next time, nice food ribs, chicken , fries and sandwich smoke meat

Normally I would rate them 5+.. I’ve been ordering from them for 25+ years and for the first time ever they are telling me they charge extra for white meat on my chicken sandwich.. I’m already paying $11 plus tax for the sandwich alone (not meal) and they cancel my order cuz they say they are not making money.. I’ve been ordering $50 or more on sandwich’s and wings plus fries for many years and all of a sudden they can’t give me what I want.. they even contacted me and said they can’t fulfill my request cuz they charge extra $2 for the request and when I accepted the request, they still cancelled.. when I called them to find out what was going on, the guy said “they are not making money and have ALWAYS charged a $2 fee for white meat.. I’ve always given them noting but good reviews and compliments but I guess these days they are “NOT” making enough money from their “late night unemployed crowd” they want to lose money from a solid devoted customer who works hard for their money even when I started ordering from them 25+ years ago being 16 years old working a part time job and going to school..they have already raised the price on all their food significantly. shame on this company for treating me this way… I can say they lost a very good customer..

Our family has been going here for several years. The staff have always been good to us. They try to keep the prices reasonable.

Can't you believe this service, cauple weeks ago was my very first innocent time going to this George's Deli@BBQ cause I hear good things about this takeout THE PPL WHOVE GIVEN THEM 5 STARS ARE THEYRE CLOSE AREA REDIDENTS, MAYBE CONTRACTORS AND FRIENDS..and the servers who I firmly believe is owner didn't even hardly give me NO EYE CONTACT, nor HI, just yess what do you want almost like I'm a waste of his time professionally or a distraction in his way and I was the only 1 there late at night, no other customers the guy probably don't like himself or what? I'll have to backtrack now and go Swiss chalet! Thanks for the nasty treatment AND ILL TELL EVERYBODY IN MY NETWORK AND THOSE READING NOW TO STAY CLEAR!

Had some amazing food from this place in the past but tonight I ordered delivery. Took 45mins, arrived cold and no where what I expected. I'm sad to say I'm throwing out the menu I kept in my cupboard. I try to help local business but sorry George's, you're done.

I love georges deli. I use to go there back in the late 90s early 2000s. It's hot fast fresh and incredibly delicious. After 25 years I went back very recently and it was still as delicious hot fast fresh and reasonably priced.

You have a certain craving.... This place will satisfy 30% of that craving. My 20$ poutine with mozzarella cheese and haddock fish frozen square patties was sub par. Corn beef is ok at best. Customer service is horrible. Place is dirty and old. I'd stay away!. Then the owner replies with an attack against me. Your more than welcome to give this place a try but don't say I didn't warn you. Nothing authentic to eat here.
