Pretty cool place. Service was awesome. And they have a good selection of local craft beers.We had the steak sandwich and the cubano. Steak sandwich is off the charts! The cut is top notch and seasoned and cooked perfectly (med rare). Had the Mac and cheese as a side. Man the cheese sauce was so tasty. Highly recommend. For the cubano I had the Caesar salad as a side. The Caesar salad was amazing! Highly recommend. The cubano however was a let down. It tasted great but hardly any meat. Was mostly bread. Don’t recommend. (See below for update on the Cubano)Update (Aug 26): thank your Jesse and team for bringing me back to try the Cubano. They reached out after reading this review and asked me to come back and try it out. I’m glad I did!! I recommend this sandwich now. The bun was toasted with a tasty spice and the meat was plenty full! Also had the smoked pork poutine!! Absolutely recommend!!! The smoke in that pork was amazing!

Friendly service, nice decor. The food was decent overall but the sandwich was very dry. Big portions and nice presentation. Will be back to try other items on the menu!

Every time I travel through Spruce, I stop at B&G for lunch and a visit with Devin, who would fill my coffee cup as well as my spiritual cup. I hadn’t been in about a year and was excited to have a visit and the best gluten free restaurant food on the planet. I always used to joke with Devin that should I end up on death row, I’d order my last meal from him. I love the food and ambiance at B&G, but I am so sad to learn that there won’t be another visit with Devin.

I do not go out often, and I know that when I spend money on a restaurant that I am going to get a good meal here. My wife and I shared the club sandwich and calamari. I do recommend their calamari, its done very well.

This is a must check out in Spruce!Food is delicious, atmosphere is amazing, service is impeccable.We stopped by for a brunch and this quickly became one of our favorites.Can't wait to come back.Update:Came back for a burger and were not disappointed. Juicy, tasty, lots of meat...delicious! My top pick for a burger in parkland!

Not impressed , greasy over priced for quality. And in Alberta they don’t even serve Steak, brisket is pure greasy slime . Cheapest burger is 21$ you would do better at McDonald’s. Seriously people don’t waste money in this place. The staff is all top shelf, the food is dumpster quality food

I would recommend that folks give this place a try. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and service was good. We had the truffle fries(starter), Cubano, and the Chicken, Brie and Apple. Handheld and side salads were good to very good.Note: I like salt... but the fries were really salty. Cut back salt by 50% and they would be about right.

Super cute little place! Located inside the hotel itself, just down a hall from the restaurant.It's made up like a Speakeasy, so you have to put a code in the door (they give it to you) to get in.Prices are on the higher side, but it's got a great atmosphere, and the servers are lovely.Totally a place to go to for a low key meet up.

The food was great!! Burger and fries were so yummy. Mac and cheese was more likely cheese and cheese. It was that cheesy! It was really busy and endless skip the dishes too. Staffs looked tired but they tried their best.
