I don't know how they call themselves 'Restaurant'? You go in,nobody greets you. You have to ask for your table, food, bill etc. Food was not bad but too expensive for a quality of this restaurant, plus no price or menu. Not going back.

Me and my friend visited yesterday. They are very rude and dont know how to behave with customer. Never ever going there again.Literally they forcefully make us to order extra food. Very unexpected behaviour as a Bangladeshi owner. Food taste was bad and unhygienic as well.

No frills place on Brick Lane. If you are looking to experience authentic Bengali food them Amar Gaon (loterally meaning My Village) is a must visit... they do small plates so don't hesitate to ask and taste as many dishes as possible...

Just to clarify this review is for Brick Lane Stay!I would never stay here and actually just walked out!!Unfortunately there is no zero option for star rating. The 'reception' is in a restaurant underneath, I was told to sit down, no explanation as to why. Didn't feel safe, and once I was finally shown the room I thought there's no way I'm staying here!! I had to pay 4 times as much to find another hotel, but money well spent.Still have never had a response from this place about a refund. Just the worst customer service!

Literally opened the front door, and my friend was shutting the door, no eye contact, did not greet us. Was told to order at the counter and cash only, was rude and the vibe was very unwelcoming, will not be returning back.We left immediately. If there was an option, to give no 'stars', I would.

This traditional authentic Bangladeshi restaurant has all the flavours to remind you of good old home cooked food. The lamb chop curry was lovely and full of flavour. Portion sizes are great and enough to fill you up. I’d suggest you try a few dishes to get a taste of each. Defiant recommend.

A meal with profound flavour profiles and depth. Oily spinach prawn chorchorri, tomato curry, mustard green potato and beef menzani

Rice and curry tasted nice however my tummy felt weird for the rest of the day. My family said the same thing. Had the lentil curry the next day (stored it in the fridge) and had that horrible feeling in my tummy again. So service was great but food is questionable.
