The trainer we had for our dog Breeze was Kathleen. She was very knowledgable and provided me both tips and tricks that have been exceptional help while training my dog. Kathleen ensured that I was comfortable in the training techniques she showed me before our training session had ended. She helped me work with my dog and be the pack leader she needed. Kathleen was super helpful to work around our schedule and provide ongoing tips and tricks in between appointments.

What a relief! A Trainer who has brought us some peace and control. Yes, our first experience with Bark Busters and trainer Kathleen was wonderfully encouraging and nonstressful. We, Teddy by Multipoo and I learned masterful technics on the first night both in theory and practice. As a dog owner i did not realize how much information I did not know and in my thoughts probably would have kept doing Teddy more harm then good. I am thankful for the world of knowledge Kathleen has brought and will continue to bring so Teddy and I will have bright future ahead.

We have just started working with Kathleen with our three dogs, Lucy (8), Carol (3) and Rocky (4 months). We wanted to make sure we had a smooth integration with our new pup while also working on some obedience with our older dogs (who are very large breeds). In just an incredibly short period of time and one virtual session, Kathleen was able to zone in on some of the trouble areas and equipped us with the skills and knowledge to work on those areas. We are already seeing HUGE progression with our family of dogs and their ability to co-exist peacefully together. We look forward to future sessions and seeing even more improvement. We were very unsure of how things would work virtually but Kathleen was the ultimate professional and truly took our family dynamic into consideration with her tips and techniques. Absolutely loved our session and highly recommend to anyone with a dog, no matter what!

My fiancé and I got a new puppy from a rescue and Kathleen worked with our puppy Winnie and our older boy Buddy and helped us so much! Winnie was a problem puppy, she nipped us and drew blood, had a resource guarding problem and wouldn’t even let us touch her paws! She was so young when we got her and was just not comfortable with people so Kathleen worked extremely hard with us over zoom and we were able to completely turn this puppy around and into a very loving and affectionate dog. She is also much improved with walking and even recall. We still have hiccups but now they’re just normal puppy issues and nothing we aren’t able to handle with the knowledge we have been provided by Barkbusters! I would highly recommend anyone to this service as we feel that Kathleen is highly skilled and very personable with her clients and puppies!Thank you Kathleen for everything! Kathleen has been working with my pup for already 2 sessions in person now and has always been great with communicating via email/text. I've already noticed an improvement in our home environment. She is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and patient, by teaching us how to lead our dog in baby steps which totally makes sense. I HIGHLY recommend Kathleen to everyone who wants to lead their pup in the right direction! :)

As soon as I met Kathleen, we were so impressed with her and her business acumen. Kathleen came highly recommended by a colleague of mine. After contacting her, she phoned me right away and sent an email to follow up. Even though Kathleen has a ton of clients, she makes you feel like you are priority.Our first session together was a Zoom call. Kathleen was impeccably on time. She spent 2.5 hours with us! She was/is professional, so informative, easy to work with and learn from. Our session was so effective. It was split into 3 parts- meet and greet, lessons for us via educational slideshow and finished with practical hands on lessons that included the dog. In just one day of practising, we saw impressive results. I highly recommend Kathleen if you are committed to raising a well-behaved and happy dog!

Kathleen is helping us train our 10-week old pup. I called her because I’ve never owned a puppy and before even becoming a customer, I found that Kathleen was super helpful and gave me a lot of pointers. She made me feel extremely comfortable which is why I signed up to be a client. Thank god I did! Even after the first session, I feel like we’ve addressed some key areas of improvement for Alfie and We are definitely looking forward to our lessons and exercises in the future.

So far, our trainer Kathleen McKay is phenomenal. Our time together has allowed us to garner so much knowledge and understanding coupled with access to the necessary tools to enable success. In addition to that, we had fun while doing it. We saw changes in our dog’s behaviour from our first interaction. We have had Kathleen train our currently 8 month old goldendoodle since he was about 4 months. She has been so fantastic. The kind of instant responses she manages to get is amazing. She is really training us hoomans while teaching us to train our puppy. And it is impressive. Especially considering our primarily dog care individuals are 12 year old twin boys. She is patient, super fond of Phoenix, manages to hold all 4 of our attention, so personable and professional, sets realistic achievable expectations, and gives us appropriate homework for practice. Us as new dog fam and Phoenix with his new hoomans continue to evolve in the right direction. Among the ton of trainers available out there we are super happy to have ended up with her.

We just started training with Kathleen for our puppy Donnie. We were worried about Donnie since he's our first dog, but after speaking with Kathleen and our first lesson, I felt more at ease. Kathleen is very knowledgable and spends the time to make sure we have a good understanding on everything she is teaching. There have been noticeable differences just from the first session and we cannot wait to see how much better Donnie gets with more sessions.
