Double M RV Resort & Campground

Really enjoyed our stay at Double M. lots of activities for kids and grown ups. Grounds felt very clean, friendly and safe. Guests were very respectful of the speed limits on the grounds. Loved the access to a small beach by the river, water was clean.

Very nice park, lots of greens, large field, horseshoes, volleyball net, nice beach, great fishing, friendly staff. Amazing place to camp!

After buying a travel trailer we travelled to many different parks in Ontario. We chose to settle at Double M because it’s a privately owned park by some of the most friendly and helpful people we have ever come across. The owners get involved in the many events that are hosted annually from Christmas in July to family day lots going on to keep the little ones busy. The residents of the park are also always willing to lend a hand. Residents are friendly and this park has a great community that we are happy to be part of.

Awesome campground!! Well maintained, staff are great the sites are great on the river!!! Plus the fishing was great too!! Check it out as prices are more than reasonable

Buyer, beware before you buy a trailer in this parkGet everything in writing bought a trailer in the park less than a year ago and lost a pile of money because Stephanie and her mom decided my trailer would not be sold in the park?they weren’t going to discuss with me what was sellable they had at the time a trailer 10 years + and they sold it!!mine was 10 years or less and decided not to put it up for sale???The excuse they gave me was that the mother sold a older trailers without discussing it with the daughterpoor business practices.she sold me something that she know that was unsellable in the futureagain lost a pile of money, if I new there was no chance to resell I would have never bought it.No real policy in place for trailer resale in the park right from the beginning, they sold me something that was already unsellable so if you buy something don’t listen to anything they have to tell you 10 years five years they hold the strings on when they want to sell anything in that park if you don’t want to lose money, get everything in writing to protect yourself. From buying something that is not able to be resold in the park.

The campground is nice and the office staff is friendly. However, the restrooms smelled like the cows came home. The overnight site we got was also very hard for us to level our motorhome and all of them looked like ours. At $70 per night, you'd think they could set up a somewhat level gravel pad. To top it all, the lawnmowing guy came very close to my RV. When i asked him to be careful and keep more distance, he was rude and proceeded to stay even longer near my RV than he had to. Next time, we'll try Riverwood!

Lovely spot, overnight camping spots are located right near the water, has a great swim spot for the children and adults. Also has a nice little park to keep the kids entertained. The staff are always friendly, it’s a small family run business which is so nice to see. The store serves the best ice cream (Kawartha Dairy) and always has a good selection of essential goods and candies. We love camping at Double M can’t wait to go back.

We have a trailer here it is so beautiful to sit by the water the people are wonderful . It is kid friendly. Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash

If you’re thinking of becoming a seasonal camper here, Had a trailer there for one season at this park, I found there’s seasonal fees very complicated to understand on paper. They should really simplify things so no confusion and their electrical bill not sure where they’re getting their readings from but I can tell you that they’re metres are not on your site. There’s somewhere in the park?

Toured this place with the owner ( Daphne ) she was fantastic and so accommodating , easy going and super nice . It's a very warm welcoming trailer park . Very clean and very well kept. This family owned park is fantastic. The only reason we are not their, is because we were looking for a pool and a place to used our golf cart . The beach is great , and the new dock system going in, is fantastic . If you are looking for an awesome place to go too this is the place you need to go to. I will always recommend this park to anyone .
