O'Connell Park
The kids loved playing at this park! Splash pad was nice and refreshing and a large playground with several options for different ages. Lovely playhouse donated by a local family in memory of their son. Big shady trees to picnic and sit under on hot days. My only issue was the condition of the bathrooms there - large porta bathrooms are set up there but were not maintained to the point they could not be used.

This park is great because of the splash pad. Kids have a lot of fun in the playground. There is a stream behind the park that is also very fun for cooling off in and you can get some great pictures. Washrooms are on site and very clean. Picnic tables are available for public use as well.

Great atmosphere for kids, safe play area also. The town takes care of it well. New washrooms open during summer and a drinking fountain. Splash pad is great. Walking trails through the park also. Has alot of grass areas for games, picnics etc.

Good place to take photos, well kept and hasn’t been too busy any time I’ve been. On-site washrooms—can’t comment on cleanliness as I haven’t been in them. Usually go to this splash pad as it’s cleaner than the ones in the city of SJ.

Fantastic Park to take the Family for a picnic, enjoy the day relaxing. The kids have a splash pad to keep them entertained and cooled down. Nice babbling stream and plenty of shade trees if the sun is too hot !

O'Connell is a beautiful park right here in Sussex. Picnic tables are lovely to have and the new comfort station is definitely an added bonus. Bathrooms on site with small kids is great!

Its the park i have gone to for years. My parents took me when i was little and i still go there to hang out with my friends. The splash pad is great too. 100% recommend going if you have kids.

What a beautiful park! Easy access, quiet area and an amazing splash pad for the kids. The addition of the Visitor Information Centre was an excellent move by the Town. Visitors will love it!

Killing some time while waiting for someone to get done at the health center, beautiful spot. From Saint John but will definitely visit again.
