Judokaa Martial Arts is a great place for a child not just to be physically involved in a martial art and self-defense but also to learn values and morals that are important in everyday life.You will be amazed of how welcoming Sensei Kevin Ausman, he treats everyone as family and the atmosphere at Judokaa is very family oriented. They offered Kozen Judo & Self-defense and IJF Judo. Let your kids attend the Bullying program as well as it is free.If you’re looking for martial arts, I would highly recommend Judokaa Martial Arts to any parent wanting their children to develop self defense, discipline and social skills.

We have watched our 4 year old excel this past year from attending this Judo club, he has learned discipline, respect, self-regulation, patience, how to learn from experienced students and to teach other new students all before the age of 5 - the benefits of Judo are very great and your child will excel at this club - best decision for our child!

UPDATE: 1.5 years into my daughter's training and she is absolutely loving these guys and the other trainees. Their methods of helping teens and adults alike develop natural self confidence through incredibly patient and accepting coaching and mentoring is the best of the best. No hotheads here. Friends helping friends learn Judo, get into shape and have fun together. So glad we found this place. What a blessing!Kevin and his team are quite literally the BEST in the martial arts for recreation, health, fitness, self confidence, self defense, self discipline business.We came from another MMA school in the Durham region that was far too hard on the kids and if your kids are anything like mine, the harder the direct push the more they resist. Kevin and his team with Ryan, they know how to help the kids learn through a challenging yet welcoming and warm environment so that they have fun and in turn the fun gets them engaged and interested and wanting to go to class. And in the end, makes them better martial artists. At our previous School/dojo every class, no exaggerating, a child would leave crying with an injury (bloody nose, sratches, strains, pulls) and that nevers happens at Judokaa. Kevin told me something along the lines of, injured kids can't come to class" and the urge to hug the man was hard to resist but don't worry Kev

Our family has been with Judokaa for 3 years. Myself and 2 boys started new 3 years ago and have fallen in love with this club and sport. My wife has trained and coached with Sensei Kevin in the past and was very comfortable introducing the rest of us to Judokaa. Judokaa creates a fun and safe atmosphere for all ages. They teach respect, discipline and family values through all levels of life. Happy to recommend Judokaa to anyone.

We love this place and cannot recommend it enough. Sensei Kevin makes it fun for the kids while also providing top level instruction. The focus on safety and respect has been instrumental to my kid's development as athletes and good people.

This is not only a Dojo with some great Sensei's but also a community. Sensei Kevin is very good with young children, not only they are learning the judo skills but they are also learning really important life skills. Been bringing my kid for almost 2 years now, and I like and trust Kevin so much that he's now my scuba instructor. They worked really hard to find the perfect ways to legally stay open during the pandemic so that the kids can continue to grow their skills. This is a Dojo that cares about their members.

My son has been with this dojo for over a year and we have seen big changes in him. He is confident, strong, and focused in Judo and in all areas of his life. Sensei Kevin and Sensei Ryan are motivating, encouraging and inspiring.

My son has been attending for over a year now and he loves it. I love the family like atmosphere and the professional sensei's . They give tough love but you can just tell they want your children to succeed!! I cant wait till my 3 year old to hit 4 so he can join too! It boosts their confidence and strengthens their bodies. This momma is almost ready to sign up herself lol.

Our daughter loves Judo at Judokaa! We enrolled her this year and it was the best decision. Sensei Kevin is great with the kids. Patient and does a great job teaching them the art of Judo, even at a young age. Great after school activity that gets her a part of another community and an opportunity to peel her away from the TV. Highly recommend!
