The Noodle Guy
My first experience with The Noodle Guy was with takeout tagliatelle at the Wolfville Farmers market. So getting a chance to visit the actual restaurant was a treat. Great staff, funky rustic vibe, and the food was great. Fresh and piping hot. Will visit again when I'm in the area. Maybe burger night?

**2023 Review**I recently dined at The Noodle Guy and unfortunately, I must say that my experience left much to be desired. I ordered the tagliatelle with basil and sausage, and I was disappointed right from the start. The noodles were excessively thick and seemed to be falling apart, which greatly affected the overall texture of the dish. Additionally, the sausage lacked any searing and tasted as though it had been boiled rather than cooked with care.Moving on to the service, I encountered some notable shortcomings. While seated at my table, I had to rely on another server to inform me about the specials, as my own server failed to mention them. Furthermore, when I inquired about non-alcoholic beer options, the server seemed unsure and lacked knowledge of the available choices. To top it off, when I requested to take my broth home, I was presented with a coffee cup instead of a suitable container.Another dish I tried was the Ramen with chicken, and unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The broth lacked the depth of flavor that one would expect from a good bowl of ramen, leaving me wanting more.One aspect that disappointed me was the lack of variety in the menu. Despite being a regular customer for over a year, I noticed that the menu remained stagnant and unchanged. It seems like a missed opportunity for The Noodle Guy to explore new flavors and keep their offerings exciting, especially considering that noodles can be incredibly versatile. Furthermore, the absence of spicy dishes and craft beer options added to my disappointment.In conclusion, I regret to say that The Noodle Guy has been on a downward trajectory. The thick and crumbling noodles, lackluster sausage, mediocre service, and unremarkable ramen broth all contributed to a disappointing dining experience. I hope The Noodle Guy can address these issues and regain the charm and quality it once possessed.Overall rating: 2 out of 5 stars.

The Noodle Guy
What a gem! My first time here and won't be the last! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. My husband had the special and I had the shells pasta. You can tell this is the place where everything is just so good! For desert we had the pumpkin spice panna cotta.. and it was divine. Amazingly priced for what you get. 10/10 recommend!

Had lunch at noodle guy on a busy friday. Managed to have a seat at the bar but for larger groups there was a bit of wait. Had the pot stickers and tomatoes pasta which shrimp. Food was good (potstikers could use more seasoning) but service was tricky cos of how busy there were. Though I was sitting right in front of the cash... I was forgotten.

I was happy to see they were busy and busing despite them being in the middle of no where! I’ll start by saying that the pasta was incredible, lots of extra feta and the portion was good. The ramen was tasty, but not actually ramen, the noodles and contents were not actually ramen, it tasted fine all in all. The service left something to be desired as they don’t return to your table to check on drinks, despite the high number of servers per table.

The food was incredibly good. My daughter tells me it is pretty well known in the greater area. I am not surprised. I had the beef stir fry which was superb. I have had stir fry in lots of places, but never this good. I also had the blueberry crabapple cider which was also very good. My wife had spaghetti which was so good my granddaughter ate half.

This is a must try if you are visiting or staying in the area. We stayed 4 nights in Kentville and visited twice. The staff are amazing. High spirited and friendly. Super accommodating. They have a tiny place so try to go in off peak hours if you can or simply choose to take away if the place is full. I don't like to buy pasta dishes in restaurants knowing the cost of them vs the typical high sell price however I would gladly pay for these dishes over and over again. They are extremely reasonable in my opinion. They're also happy to sell you their pastas and sauces and tell you their recipes if you'd like to try making it on your own. This place is a no-brainer in my books.

Ate at the Noodle Guy for the first time in a very long time and had a wonderful experience. My partner enjoyed the Tagliatelle, although found it a bit salty, and I had the lunch special which was a shrimp dish that was absolutely incredible. I loved the special so much! We both enjoyed a coffee with lunch as well. Service was great, overall experience was great, will definitely be back.

Stopped by when traveling for work. I had the Ramen, it was ok (the egg was the best part).The other people I was traveling with loved their meals.
