I’ve been selling to style encore for years, sometimes they take a lot and sometimes they take very little, it’s based on their inventory. But looking through this store I can see why they barely purchase anything. Lots of clothes are either stained, ripped, or very old. Purses and shoes have leather peeling off. I’m not sure if the owner/workers are just filling the store with their old clothes, but that’s what it looks like, so I’d recommend buying/selling at another style encore.

I have been shopping at Style Encore for 3 years now and it just felt like the right time to share my experiences. I do not live locally and make my purchases over IG. The service I receive through IG is always prompt and the communication is always helpful, professional and friendly. The purchases I have made have helped me build and create a time capsule wardrobe which I am complimented on daily. Another special detail for me to mention is that my dad often picks up my purchases for me. My dad tells me that the Team at Style Encore all know him when he walks into the store and he is always greeted with a smile. Thank you Style Encore for your top notch customer service.

Bought a ticket for their event was told on two separate days that the credit could be used to purchase through Instagram. Was informed today that it was an in person event and I would not get the credit. I found out it was the owner who spoke to. She said the staff that day did not know it couldn’t be used and had the audacity to say that if I had to ask twice I obviously knew it could not be used. I have spent over a thousand dollars at their store and used to recommend them to everyone.After the rudeness I experienced today from the owner no less, I will no longer be shopping there or recommending them.I have worked in Customer Service for over 10 years, this is not how you deal with customers.Update: In response to your reply I asked two separate staff members if I had to attend to receive credit and they said no, please do not try to make me look like I am at fault when I have the screenshots to prove it.

I’m a seller more than a buyer. The service and staff have dramatically improved over the years, that’s why I’m giving it a 5 ⭐️ rating. The current staff and management are friendly and knowledgeable. They’ve offered me reasonable amounts at their buy counter. Over the year, they’ve become more picky with buys as they’re overstocked. So if you’re looking for a good range of name brands, I’m sure you’ll find something at this location. If you’re looking to sell, don’t go in with any expectation as it really varies with the location/demographics/styles of what that store is seeking. I’ve had most success in purging my gently used items at this location, than at any other location.

unbelievable. goop everywhere. disgusting work environment for the employees. clothing all over the walls. staff was pleasant but seemed worn down from sorting through my 5 small bags… and yet didn’t purchase anything. i was curious about the reason why they refused multiple mint condition designer items (multiple UNWORN, new WITH TAGS…) and the manager surfaced. her explanation? “arm holes are too small.” makes sense… won’t try again here. extremely disappointed as i really needed the money for my dissection. if i could give 0 stars I WOULD. My tip to the owner? CLEAN THE GOOP! INCONCEIVABLE!

WORST PLACE EVER TO SELL OR PURCHASE. I brought in $3000 worth of excellent condition clothing and shoes that are very in style currently.They made me wait 4 hours to go through my items and didn’t purchase anything. I went through the store to see what they sell and it’s absolutely the ugliest garbage ever. Value village sells better stuff. They won’t buy nice designer clothes but sell junk. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

Awesome experience, fast shipping and very easy to make transactions. The staff is always very nice and makes the shopping experience very enjoyable! Also, im really shock to see so many negative comments. I bought an item online that had a small stain on it and they didnt hesite to be transparent and let me know the condition of the item. I really appreciated their honesty and transparency! I feel that most of the bad comments are unfair.

First time coming to this store. First impressions when walking in: Disorganized and unfriendly. Staff seems stressed out. Not a hospitable vibe at all. I had a bunch of business clothing to sell. They refused it because I had it in a garbage bag. They said it was policy (very pretentious and stupid policy by the way), and they sent me away. I had driven all the way to Oakville for this. I will not be back. I would highly recommend the Mississauga location. Much better customer service there.

I brought in a few business casual dresses from places like Jacob, H&M and Reitman’s (examples pictured), and after a 30 minute drive there and a wait time of an hour and a half, they took zero items! The service and explanations were not even friendly... won’t be going back because even after browsing the whole store, there was nothing that seemed worth the prices. They seem very defensive and don’t care about the customer experience.
