I cannot imagine my wedding day without Betty and her team!In particular, I'd like to give a super shout-out to Betty who did above and beyond of what was required of her. Betty was always responsive and helpful. Though I only made up my mind of the styles and accessories of what I wanted last minute, she still responded promptly and suggested various ideas to improve my wedding day experience! On the day of the wedding, the team arrived ahead of the scheduled time and wasted no time to set up. Betty followed me throughout the day and when I forgot to bring my veil for my ceremony, she immediately came up with an alternate hair style/accessories combination to substitute the missing veil! She would comfort me along the way whenever I get anxious/nervous. Betty was always around to provide small touch ups and fixes to my make up and hair style throughout the day. She also offered to take and shared numerous behind-the-scene pictures with us during the day. All in all, Betty and her team are very professional with their service. Their smiles and caring words have made our wedding day super memorable and we cannot ask for more!Thank you Betty and team!!!

Betty was so wonderful to work with! She is extremely professional and kind. Betty made me look beautiful for my engagement photo session and wedding! For my engagement photo session, she did a trial for my wedding and then seamlessly revised my look to suit my vision for my engagement photo session. She is so organized, keeping track of the many emails I sent her with different adjustments and inspiration photos as the months went by. I appreciated her quick responses! The day of my wedding, she made sure to tell me every step of her hair and makeup preparation, which was so helpful and nice to know! She also checked-in frequently throughout the process, and made the small adjustments requested without hesitation. Betty is very skillful, professional, very friendly, approachable, and flexible. The make up and style finalization consultation meeting before the wedding was very fun and stress-free. Betty looked at my dresses and run down for the day and started to give me ideas on the hair styles and make up I could have. She also tried to incorporate different elements and various looks for me so that each style would be unique and would look so much better on photos. All of my guests were wowed by the different styles and how they beautifully suit me. Lots of compliments and every bride deserves to look the most beautiful on the wedding day! Betty is the choice! Betty has really great experience and she shared all of the valuable tips, advice and recommendation. She is sincere and passionate. Trust me, you don't need more stress from dealing with wedding vendors. Betty is totally reliable, punctual, efficient, caring and very detailed-oriented. Not only does she care my look and make up for the day, she also took care of my bridal party and my family. She worked with the Emcee and on site coordinator as well throughout the night to make sure everything goes smoothly. I would say she is the general manager for behind the scene. Betty is very experienced but her styles would never go outdated. She kept up with the most trendy looks with a personal touch to make it unique! The wedding accessories are gorgeous, and high quality and they enhanced my wedding dress and evening gown to the next level. I am really pleased with the service and experience! Her crew is also excellent. I love the make up and hair they have done for my bridesmaids, mom, cousins and aunties. Betty is a trust-worthy friend, not just a vendor/make up artist!

I wanted to take a moment to thank Betty and her team for doing such an amazing job on my hair and make-up for our wedding. I was astonished how good she made me look. Before the wedding, Betty took time to know my skin type and style, how I imagined the look would be and helped bring that idea to the wedding day. Betty and her team were absolutely amazing to work with! Not only were they very organized, communicated so professionally and efficiently, but they were also some of the nicest people I have ever met. Betty worked closely with me to try to make COVID and wedding planning work together, and I would not have been able to do it without her. Her talent is wonderful; my mom was very impressed with how beautiful my sister and my own make up and hair looked.. she's not used to seeing her two daughters look so good when they usually don't even brush their hair. Betty and her team was such a joy to work with and I'm definitely staying in touch with them for all my other future make up and hair needs! Thank you Bridal Secretary!

On Saturday, November 23, 2019, my husband and I hosted our wedding banquet with friends and family. I asked Betty from Bridal Secretary to be my make up artist and hair stylist. This wasn't the first time I had worked with Bridal Secretary and both times, I was impressed by Bridal Secretary's service!Betty and her team's work is beyond my expectations and they deliver timely responses (to my many questions), beautiful art, and excellent services. Because of Betty's experience in the wedding industry, she was able to provide me valuable advice on the type of hairstyle and accessories that would pair nicely with my dresses (both Chinese and Western styles). By the way, she speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese (so if you're a CBC like me, she will understand you).Betty's styling of make-up and hair is absolutely elegant and I'm glad to note that they look even better in pictures that document the day (memory becomes hazy over time)! Bridal Secretary's level of detail and care put towards meeting/exceeding their clients' expectations is a reassuring feeling and we know we are in capable hands during these important events.On the day of the wedding banquet, my mom, sister, friend, and I had our hair/makeup done at their studio. Their studio is clean and professional looking (they also offer to complete their work on site). Betty and one other makeup/hair stylist were extremely punctual and completed all their work ahead of schedule by 30 minutes which is a huge benefit for wedding scheduling.Loved that we chose Bridal Secretary's service and can't recommend enough their expertise in hair and makeup department. They aren't just professionals for wedding functions but also MUA/hairstylist for TV shows and other larger events which speaks to their versatility and knowledge in the makeup/hairstyling field.

I was looking for a salon that does wedding hair and makeup and after many searches, I found Bridal Secretary. I reached out to Betty (the owner of the salon) back in February 2020 with my inquiries and we decided to book a consultation for the following week. We had a thorough consultation regarding what this whole thing entails and I went home, talked it over with my bridal party and scheduled one of Betty’s girls for May 10th 2020. By the time April came along, there was no way I could get married with all the immediate family (I was 5, my fiancé was 6 and plus a priest, that was 12 people which was over the 10 people policy limit at that time) so I cancelled everything and reconnected with Betty in August 2020.Since I had already put in my deposit back in March 2020, I was able to make a last minute booking. I booked a hair and makeup trial with one of her girls for late September. The hair and MUA artist that did my hair and makeup for the trial was named Candy and she knows what she’s doing: I had shoulder length hair and I didn’t know what to do or how to style it but she did: hot rollers, never had that before but my hair came out beautifully. If you show her examples of hairstyles, Candy does a great job of replicating it! Unfortunately, after my hair and makeup trial, I came home and washed the makeup off a few hours after. I think I had a slight allergic reaction to the makeup which was not her fault because while she was applying the makeup, my skin was fine, it was just after I removed all the makeup, my skin was a little red and patchy but nothing like some aloe vera to help with the healing process. On October 10th 2020, the day of my wedding, Candy did my hair (while taking precautions during this uncertain time) while I did my own makeup. She did a wonderful job and the tiara stayed in the place the entire time (was concerned it might slip off), but I completely forgot about it, until I had to take it off; I looked like a princess! =DBoth Betty and Candy were really nice, attentive and accommodating and I would recommend her to close family and friends!

Betty and her team were amazing on my wedding day. They were on time and ready to go to glam us all up. I really appreciated that they went above and beyond to make me and the bridal party comfortable. Would highly recommend them for all your hair and makeup needs!
