Dr. Kirk Barber

Been a patient for a few years - pleased with Dr. Barber Front desk staff often rude and the appointment system is deficient and not affective. The previous system was much more reasonable, you could call or when you were leaving your appointment and were told to have a follow up, you would see someone at reception. Now you go back and forth and wait a few days in between to confirm your availability and what they have available - one appointment took 4 weeks to schedule. Not impressed.

Dr. Barber is excellent. I have the highest regard for Dr. Barber. I have previously been critical of the office administration; however, a recent appointment was highly satisfactory. I requested an appointment by email, received a timely response and was given an appointment that accommodated my timeline. Thank you.

My experience with Dr. Barber was very pleasant! He is an exceptional dermatologist. His staff member that greeted me right away was very nice too. I was really nervous getting 3 moles removed (one being on my head) and he made me feel at ease and took his time. He thoroughly explained the process of the removal for each one and why that was best. I would definitely recommend Dr. Barber to anyone! Thank you for all your help - I should’ve come seen you years ago!

My experience with Dr Barber was very pleasant. Sure, there was a bit of a wait, but nothing unusual from any doctor appointment I've had. Dr Barber and his nurse were extremely efficient, helpful and engaging with my concerns and questions. I saw him as a second opinion and am feeling so much relief physically and emotionally

Dr. Kirk Barber is a phenomenal doctor. He is pleasant and knowledgeable and it has been a pleasure being his patient. I have been a patient of Dr. Barber for 10 years. I came online today to try and find an email address for him, so I can express my concerns about his office staff and the way in which it is managed. I agree with Alex, trying to contact the office is ridiculous. No one answers the phone which makes it difficult to change or cancel appointments, and in the event that the office “didn’t get my message” they have the audacity to charge me $75 for a “missed appointment”. It is true, the office staff does attempt to call you back, but if you miss the call, the game of phone tag begins. How professional is that? Too bad we as patients can’t charge the office staff for the amount of time we spend waiting. Also if you haven’t seen him for more than a year, they make you go get another referral. And to top it off one is waiting about another 3-6 months to see him. What kind of nonsense is that! I have been a patient for 10 years, I don’t appreciate being treated as a brand new patient. It makes me wonder if Dr. Barber is aware of the inconvenience that these issues can cause. I am so frustrated by his office manager that I have chosen to see a different dermatologist altogether. My apologies Dr. Barber, but like you, I don’t have time to waste.

Walking into the clinic the receptionist was rude. was confused by a date she gave me to return and she laughed at me, when I asked for more clarification she continued to laugh at me. Regarding Dr. Barber, he was nice but I only saw him at first visit for roughly ten minutes... after that, the following visits where with his assistant. I wanted to speak with him at another appointment but he wasn't in the office so make sure you ask to speak with him when you book your appointment. It feels like a very busy clinic and his patients suffer with inconsistent and very long wait times between appointments, there is a lack of communication between the assistant and patient, inability to see Dr. Barber if you would like to discuss something with him and very rude receptionists. This clinic was disappointing.

I received a referral here in november, it took them 10 weeks to get in touch with me to book an appointment. They only ever got in touch with me once over the phone. When I tried to reschedule they never replied, and counted me as a no show, which I found out from my doctor who referred me there initially when I called her to ask Why I never heard anything. I asked my doctor for a new appointment a month ago, never heard anything so I called last friday, straight to voicemail. Was told I would hear back within a business day but its been a week already.TLDR the administration does not care about their patients. I think its time I tried to find a new referral somewhere else.

They have the worth appointment system ever. I was in their wait list for 3 months, after 3 months I received an email that your appointment was canceled and we gave your spot to some one else. There is no telephone number to call. I sent them an email that why you canceled my appointment? they answered because you didn't confirm it and didn't respond our email while I didn't receive any email from their side. I sent them a screenshot from my emails and ask them to forward the email you've sent me (if any). They even didn't do that.Please please don't waist your time waiting for this clinic.

I visited Dr.Sander and the appointment was super fast, only 10 minutes but she was very informative, kind and caring. Her nurse was super nice as well. First doctor that seemed to care about what was going on with my skin and refereed me to another specialist. I would have given 5 stars however the front desk staff seemed to be a little annoyed and very monotone like me being their was an annoyance. Overall Dr.Sanders and her nurse were awesome!

Despite a long wait time, Dr. Barber and the other dermatologists I saw were wonderful. They are getting me onto the path I need to be on with my biological injections; I was amazed at how speedy the process was.Dr. Barber is certainly one of the most patient and kindest doctors I’ve had. A true gentleman who is so friendly. Highly recommended!
