For 2 people, we spent around $55 on two mains and a very large app. It was very delicious food with plentiful quantities. The atmosphere felt calming and quaint.Will definitely return!

Got the calamari, lamb chops and chicken souvlaki on pita. Everything was so fresh and perfectly seasoned. Plus side, it literally feels like you’re somewhere in Greece when dining there - gorgeous decor and quick service.

Food - ExcellentService - Not greatI'm pretty picky with Greek food, I was really happy with this place! Food was great!! However, service made my experience a little uncomfortable. I was really excited when I got there (I used to work at a Greek restaurant and was hopeful this one would be my next Greek go to) the hostess was not friendly. The restaurant had maybe 5 tables used and tons of seating available, when we asked if we could move to a booth (there were about 5 available) the hostess (not sure if she's a supervisor, seemed like it) said no because they don't like to seat 2 people at booths cause if 4 people come in then they run out of tables. Understandable, if there wasn't TONS of seating available throughout the entire restaurant. She just seemed annoyed the whole time and made us really uncomfortable, I felt like a nuisance for being there. It was annoying to watch her later on seat 2 people to the booths...Our server was nice.I would definitely order take out 10000% but I will never go back there to dine in.

We love Mediterraneo!We found this treasure several years ago, and it has become our go-to Greek restaurant in Waterloo.The food has always been great ... the service is cordial, friendly and very helpful. After several visits our fantastic waitress has remembered our food preferences and we no longer bother with a menu.Try the calamari ... it's our go-to shareable appetizer!Oh, and the Greek beers and soda (when it isn't sold out) are refreshing and tasty. Try one for yourself.We will keep coming back!

First time here and we had a Greek coffee, and chicken souvlaki dinner! Great portion, not too much rice (just the right amount) and potatoes were quite delicious. Everything was quite flavourful including the Greek salad. The chicken was very juicy, not hard and slides off the skewer easily. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a Greek restaurant in Waterloo! Lastly, the service was great and our waitress checked up on us a few times to make our visit pleasant!

Food was amazing! Best customer service by our server Hazel!! Food was really good, great portion size! Only thing is make sure you call for a reservation but otherwise super great! Hazel’s outstanding service stood out the most!

Mediterraneo Family Restaurant
It had been many years since I have been here and I forgot how awesome it was. I promise not to wait so long to come back. The portions are large. The food is fresh and the people are great. Sabina served us but it was truly a group effort. They serve a full restaurant like a finely tuned machine. If you have never been here before I highly recommend you make the trip. Book a reservation if you don’t want to wait too long. Highly above average!

I love love this food! The bruschetta was amazing and so was the spanakopita meal. As a vegetarian I was so happy I could have a delicious meal at this place, as well as my friends and family who eat meat. The inside is so cute and I find the prices to be fair. The baklava was great as well! Service is always decent or great, and I love coming back!

Had been to this restaurant many years ago several times and remembered it as being one of my favorites. Great menu, also do catering. A little disappointed in the service this time and missed the cheery older gentleman that used to come out from the kitchen to say hello, but things change. Miss the dolmakis on the app menu. Still an amazing meal for a reasonable price.

Mediterraneo Family Restaurant
The food was wonderful, as was the atmosphere of the restaurant. It's a great place where you can make it a fancy or casual dinner depending on your selection. I do think they are short on staff, as the place was packed and service was a bit longer than preferred. Will definitely be back.
