Not worth the phone call to this company. They fo not take what they say they will take and the charge you extra when they are finished.I hired them to take a living room couch and love seat, a dining room table and chairs, a kitchen table and chairs and 3 bedroom suites as well as an extra mattress and boxspringThe only thing that was taken was the mattress and box spring couch and love seat. They took some stuffnin the garage that wasn't even on the list and wasn't even mine.So now I still have the kitchen set, the dining room set and 3 bedroom sets!And the charged me $800. To take stuff that they weren't even supposed to take and leave rverythimg else.Will never again use this company and will advise friends to not use it either!.

The service from start to finish was amazing! Will definitely be returning for any other junk needs and will also be recommending Got Junk to anyone I know looking for convenient junk removal. Huge shout out to Damien who was awesome at the time of booking and Devin and Dalton who did an amazing job of removing our junk!

We were happy that they took everything and the men were pleasant and friendly. They were on time which is especially important during this time of Covid.They did not come with any rope or cords to tie up the sofa bed, so of course it tried to open up. Also stereo cabinet doors popped open. It slowed everything down.We were very disappointed about the pricing. Not that the actual price was particularly unreasonable but that I had been told the average price was $350. The actual price ended up being more than twice that. We had described everything that needed to go so don't understand why it was so off. This left a really bad taste for the service.

I had used this service and I am NOT satisfied with this service and WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE, it would have been cheaper either to look on kijiji or facebook to get a person to remove junk, just to give a figure for 2 small truck and barely 1hr of work it cost my $800 plus. with that price a uhaul would have been cheaper, Honestly i will say this get your stuff evaluated first before you call them! IT WILL SAVE YOU ALOT!! IF YOU NEED THE FULL STORY OF HOW THAT PLAYED OUT PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO CONTACT ME. I AM HERE TO WARN PEOPLE YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF OR FIND BETTER YET CHEAPER HELP !!

Gregg, Mat, Ron and Julian came to remove an old upright piano. It was a brutal job because they had to build a ramp and move it past construction work. It was all uphill as well. Nice guys and very polite. First team showed up Saturday but two of them could not do it on their own. Two teams came back Monday morning and finished the job.The call center is not knowledgeable at all. Once you get past their nonsense the job is done amazingly well .I would use them again.

Great service. The collectors arrived ahead of schedule and cleared out a full truck worth of junk in under an hour. Will definitely use them again.

It began with dispatch. I explained in extra detail, nearly to the piece, of how much junk had to be removed from the house. I asked clearly if the truck they would be sending would be suitable for this and if not, I would happily pay for them to contract a bigger truck on that day, for this load. I was thoroughly assured they would send their biggest truck and it would more than suffice for the waste, mentioned.Then came the day, the pictured truck on their website / photos came, but in fact its a tiny 3/4 high, 3/4 long contractor waste bin. Therefore, you have about half the height of a normal cube van that you could rent from U-Haul or if you go for the bigger truck, its less than half. Before they began, I mentioned that this would not suffice and simply assumed that they knew this and would run a 2nd trip as the dump is only 15 minutes down the road. Instead, they said it would be full freight, double the cost quoted (of the big truck they promised on the phone). After loading 2 Sofas and a few garbage bags, their truck was full, $700 + spent and I was still on the hook for 2x more garbage that I had to personally remove. Get a buddy, get a U-Hall, spend your $150 for the day on the large truck and save yourself a headache. Do not use this company!

We had a collection of assorted junk and old appliances left behind by the previous owners after moving into a new (to us) house, and called up 1-800-GOT-JUNK to see if they'd be able to help us out.Ron and John were super friendly, really efficient and did a great job of clearing out everything we wanted gone, then when the time came to pay there were no surprises.I'd gladly use them again if the need arose and am happy to recommend 1-800-GOT-JUNK.

Frustrating experience in arrange a service. The customer service and their drivers clearly have some disconnect on how long their service takes. When you schedule a time slot, they can be up to 5 hours late. While the customer service did inform me about a delay, they did not do so with transparency and thus wasting me more time as they continue to change how late they will be.I first made an appointment for a Saturday 2pm~4pm service. They called me at 1:45pm to tell me they will arrive at 4:30. Then called me at 4pm and say they will arrive at 7pm. I had to cancel the appointment and reschedule a week later.Same thing happened again the next week. Scheduled for 12pm ~2pm; called at 11am and said they will arrive at 2:30pm; called at 1:30pm and say they arrive at 3:30pm. Called at 3:50pm to say they won’t arrive until 6pm.I had to push the representative and asked if he was sure the drivers could arrive at 6pm, and he answered no; more likely 7pm.I understand delays happened, but please don’t lie about how long the delay will be. I could have scheduled for an alternative or made other arrangements if the representative updated me with some transparency.
