Came in to deer lake on a late night flight at 1230...another lady mistakenly took my bag and took a star taxi down to corner brook...long story short, Paul the taxi driver went back to her place to get my luggage and brought it all the way back to deer lake and dropped it off to me at the hotel at 230am! Thank you Paul!

Occasionally we have to use a taxi service for medical appointments. More often then not, star taxi is late, which in turn makes me late for an appointment. I have allowed extra time on pickup to reduce the chances of being late, but even still, they cannot arrive on time. They have even missed sending a taxi even after calling for one. This is not happening on the odd occasion...usually 8/10 times they are late.

Back in September we had the great pleasure of meeting Star Taxi driver, Larry, who drove us to and from beautiful Humber Valley Golf Course from the port in Corner Brook. Larry was amazing and we want to thank him again and again. Larry told us all about the lovely scenery along the way and even stopped at certain places so we could take photos! We hope that Larry knows how much we appreciated everything—it was certainly our good fortune that Star Taxi and Larry were there for us. Thanks Larry!

I had a prepaid voucher for taxi service" but at Deer Lake Airport the guy from Star Taxi would only give me shared "shuttle service" unless I paid another $30. So I had to wait 2.5 hours for the next flight to arrive. After a long flight from Denmark that was very unsatisfying."

Actually there is a desk at the Deer Lake regional airport by baggage claim. Our van was full and stopped at several hotels in the area. It cost us $22 per person to Glynmill Inn.
