Very busy and popular place! While we were able to beat the dinner rush and the server was able to take our orders relatively quickly, there was still some wait time for the food to arrive and we could see the line up getting longer. Chowder had lots of food but seem a little unseasoned, overall food was delicious.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was here. It gets quite busy so I suggest making a reservation. I've tried the lamb shank on my girlfriend, tried the tuna sandwich and they were both amazing.

Stopped in for dinner with the family. There was a bit of a long line up since there wasn't much choice around the town and most places where closed.Ordered the veggie pasta primavera, light and refreshing.Food was excellent, delicious, decent priced and service was pretty good.

My touristy group of six (6) had a 5-minute wait at 7:30pm during the busy dinner hour on a weeknight, but the wait was well worth it. We ate inside the small restaurant instead of outside on the busy (but fully occupied) glass-enclosed patio. Our server was energetic & very attentive. I enjoyed the New England-style chowder w/garlic bread; the crispy fish & chips; and a tall pear ale - all very good. If I ever visit Ucluelet again, I wouldn't mind dining again at Cedar Grill.

I’ll start by suggesting not to get the Ocean Trio. Rather disappointing, the prawns were not prawns, they were the tiniest shrimp I’ve ever seen. Scallops were a little dry and over cooked.The pasta was decent, (salmon pesto). Garlic bread Came out soft with no butter, had to re order it (you’ll see from photo). Long line to get in, but that’s because the dine-In restaurants are limited in town. Another pasta dish was ordered, when the food came, they served the dish and advised one of our party members they didn’t have the pasta they wanted (gluten free) and didn’t inform them. Seemed like they were rushing the food in order to get people in the door, rather than taking the time to have a quality dish served.

Casual dine in place in the quaint little town of Ukee. Seating is bit cramped for bigger groups.Cedar Plank Salmon turned out a bland ( maple soya glaze?) and didnt meet expectations.. Primavera Veggie pasta were ok albeit the confusion on the orders. Veggie version of Fettucini Alfredo was mediocre.Food portions are ok and taste is overall ok.No one should get annoyed if the customers ask more questions about the food and or its ingredients.Service could improve a lot. Overall an average experience

Had a lovely lunch here after a long car drive from Victoria. Great food options, generous portions, and fast service. Loved being able to sit outside on the patio. Very welcoming especially considering we had a young baby. Staff were very friendly and we had a super speedy service. Thank you!
