This is a favourite place that is really close to our place and always a safe bet for our brunch. It is generally not too busy but it does happen on occasion.Food is always very tasty and the waitresses are super cool, every single one of them. We generally talk about going there for happy hour but have yet to try it because we end up going elsewhere, but this is certainly a nice place to visit when you are out and about in downtown Ottawa.

When you have a restaurant attached to a hotel in the core of downtown, you expect it to be pricey. Very pricey.But we were in for a surprise. We were in Ottawa to drop our daughter off to University. Tired from a long drive from Mississauga and loading and unloading, we wanted to a quiet dinner, some good beer before our sleepCoopers has a great patio which was full. Forcing us to take a table indoors. And we were glad, for minutes later we had a huge downpour that had all the patio patrons scurrying in.There was only one server catering to the entire restaurant so the wait was a bit. The menu was limited but with some good choices. The prices were not as outrageous as we had imagined it would be.Despite a single server he did a great job in attending to everyone. The beer on tap was a tad limited.But when the beer and food came, it was good. Decent portion sizes, good taste to tickle your buds and a good ambience to eat in.All in all it was a memorable dinner and we will definitely go here again at one of our future visits

Came here for dinner over the summer and had a nice time on the patio. Our server was really friendly and the food was tasty (fish and chips in particular was great). 4 stars as the food and drink is a bit pricey, but overall a nice spot for a drink and bite to eat.

This place makes amazing chicken wings. I haven't tried the other meals, but based on them and the kimchi pickles I can say anything you get will be good.The staff is friendly, efficient, and attentive.I recommend checking it out if you can, especially with the patio open.

Friendly service, good food, nice location. Prices are decent, and there is a patio as well.The only gripe was that they did not serve our table all at the same time, as normally expected at any restaurant. Your table orders, you bring out the food together. We had half our tables breakfast food for 20 mins. Waited for servers to notice this..took awhile. One order, also seemed to have gone missing, while the fruit orders seemed straight out of a can..maybe frozen? Not ideal.

Kevin, our bartender/ server, was excellent, he was also our room service delivery guy.This gastropub nestled on the first level of a hotel was a total surprise. A good surprise.The wings were amazing, small but nonetheless nothing short of perfection.This place has some ambiance is is so convient.A 2 block walk and your on the canal headed to downtown 10 minutes away.Parking is on the street or they have a side lot.

Amazing service. I called one day and the man who answered was kind and enthusiastic. The day I came in, our waitress gave us great service and she was quick and very friendly. Don’t forget about the food though… it was quick, delicious, and the plating was great! We were surprised it met all our expectations for the price, including the massive portions. Definitely will be coming back and it’s worth trying here!
