I called Atco around 10am this morning to speak to a representative. Someone came to my home recently to light my pilot light, and did so incorrectly, which I was attempting to clarify to this individual. The customer service representative I spoke to, who did not include his name, was extremely rude and acted as though it was a chore for him to schedule another appointment. It’s unforunate that Atco employs people who have such a vehement opposition to professionalism. I now have to wait until the end of November before this can be rectified. I will thoroughly enjoy being unable to use my Fireplace for the next two, cold months.

I think ATCO and ATCO Gas are shinning examples of a Canadian company. My only complaint is their accountability when it comes to their billing department. There is no excuse for not submitting charge accounts to service provider's on time for their billing deadlines. Further, there is no excuse for causing Albertans or any Canadians undo hardship by double billing them because they didn't submit their numbers in time for a previous billimg period. They should be held accountable and fined for such negligence. It's cruel to those on a fixed income or impoverished, and it shouldn't be allowed!

If you want to have a budget plan to avoid any big surprises in colder weather, don't waste your time with ATCO. After 5 months of There will be no problem. The budget amount will be reflected on you next bill". And having the budget amount changed each time they failed to put my account on the budget amount

I called Atco because I had not lit my pilot light since I got my service months ago. I did not need my heat which was my only appliance needing gas. The Atco guy in Trochu came on the weekend which was a surprise, and not only lit the light but also taught us about our furnace. The service from the phone call to the completion of the call was way more then expected. Thank you soooo much.

I always meant to write a review about the worst experience I've ever had with a utilities company.To cut a long story short, we moved into a townhouse a few years ago. They accidentally cut our gas off in the middle of winter, leaving us with no heat for around 6 days. It was completely their fault and they wouldn't back down on it. Not only that, they wouldn't waive the re-connection fee!!I had a call from a Manager at ATCO who said, we sent you a letter to tell you there was an issue with your billing details. This letter was received the day after we got disconnected. She said to me We sent this letter out weeks ago". The letter was date stamped as the day before we got disconnected. When I told her this she said "Must have been an error in our system. You should have got this letter sooner". I said
