We contracted North 49 to convert our wood fireplace to gas. After getting estimates from several companies, North 49's was very competitive and we were happy with our interactions with them during the process. Nathan came out to do the estimate and was directly involved in all of the work in the house. This consistency is a major part of why we're happy we chose this company.There were a few more complications than anyone expected when completing the job but everyone was fantastic during the process. Administrative staff kept us informed and were always pleasant to chat with. Nathan and the crew that came out were incredibly professional and went above and beyond to make sure that the fireplace met their (and my partner's) very high standards.I would recommend the company wholeheartedly and we'll be turning to them for maintenance of the fireplace, as well as air conditioner and furnace from now on.

We just had 49 North do a furnace cleaning and inspection this past week . The technician was a nice young fellow who did a great job and totally explained what he was doing . also i would like to note the price was excellent as they gave us a 20$ break on the bill. Prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable service. It was my first time owning a house with this type of furnace and tech explained how it worked with patience. Much appreciated.we have recently had a gas fireplace insert installed also. The installers were considerate and spread drop sheets to protect the floor and did a good job of cleaning the the work area. They made sure everything was working properly and took the time to explain everything that needed to be done to maintain and use the appliance. We are very pleased with their services.

First time to replace furnace and now to replace my Air ConditionerThey provided me with excellent price ,service and product.The were there when schedule wonderful staff. service person explained problem with furnace in detail, cleaned and inspected everything, replaced and removed filter. Pleasant and friendly to deal with as always since they replaced the furnace.

This company installed an ac unit at my house for the old owners the same year they sold the house to us. When we moved in the central air never worked. The following summer I had a different company look at it and it wasn’t hooked up properly. It was hooked up to my furnace and blowing hot air. They also didn’t colour coordinate the wires so I had to buy a new thermostat for my new hvac guy to hook up the central air correctly and he had to fill it. It was empty upon installation. A couple of summers later I found the paperwork of the installation and the old owner purchased an extended warranty because they were selling and it had no prior unit. This company refused to honour the warranty. I’m having issue’s again this summer and I had another company come in and they can’t believe how it was installed. I have the 10 year warranty paper and it’s only been a few years and I have to replace the unit already. Don’t purchase warranty if your selling it’s not worth it. FYI the roofing company the old owners used just before they sold honoured their warranty. Disappointed this company said no immediately

Excellent job! - Technician (Randy) was friendly, competent, and prompt. They repaired my A/C quickly and efficiently, and did not try to unnecessarily up-sell me or anything else questionable. Highly recommended!

North49 installed a new A/C unit this past summer and they have been maintaining our furnace for a few years now. They are respectful of health concerns and tidy up after themselves. Knowledgeable and efficient.
