An incredibly high-value combo, sake & today's special. They also offer omakase starting from $80 and up.

How have I never left a review for Kaiko?? This sushi restaurant is absolutely my favourite in the entire lower mainland! I have gone to many sushi restaurants and I keep coming back here. Even now when I live in downtown Vancouver I will make the drive back to enjoy the food. The chef does an excellent job to prepare elevated, fresh, innovative and delicious sushi. Each piece is handcrafted perfectly!I highly recommend trying their kaiko special roll, the Aburi set, and their appetizer sampler. They are delicious. The small size of the restaurant enables the chef to dote on you and makes the entire visit personalized. Please come and support Kaiko!

Arigatou ありがとう !The freshness, quality, consistency and flavor of everything we had was rad and yummy. The perfect balance of chewy, crunchy and aromatic tasting. Rolls are pretty fat and could do with some fatter filling, but nonetheless stuffed with wholesome fresh ingredients.I do feel this is a strong three stars at best as the Unagi Roll ウナギ was not cooked and didn't taste massively fresh, there are no brown rice options and I felt the food does not meet the same standard as the decorA quaint, cozy and comfortable laid back vibe in a well decorated and authentic eatery. The lady server was super nice and approachable, but the gentleman server wasn't too welcoming which isnt the worst but a weird vibe.Support local businesses!

We went there about 30 minutes before they were going to close. There were still a few people eating at the restaurant. There was a good menu selection. We ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Don special for $9.95 and a Salmon, Cucumber and Avocado Roll as well as Gyoza. The food took a little while to make especially the Gyoza. We ordered Spicy Salmon Sushimi to go and it was absolutely tiny. With very small pieces of salmon in a little container. We’re asked the server if it was free right order, she said it was. At any other Sushi restaurant it’s more then triple the size. We know it’s Covid-19 time and restaurants are trying to save $. Cutting back so much will not help anyone. Hope they do not do this on a regular basis.

Our dinner at Kaiko was one of the most thoughtful and satisfying food experience I've ever had. We came here with very little expectation, and was blown away with the presentation, quality, and value of the meal we received. The Dinner for Two had so much food that I was practically full half way. But we kept stuffing ourselves because each course was so elegantly presented and enticing to the senses. After the first visit, Kaiko is now one of my top 5 sushi restaurant in Vancouver, along the likes of Miku, Toyo, and Kishimoto. I can't wait to come back for more.

It was our first time trying Kaiko Sushi and it was delicious! My husband said it was the best agedashi tofu he has tried. The rolls were very fresh and tasty. We loved the green roll and kaiko special roll. Presentation was lovely as well.

Delicious and wonderfully presented Japanese food, especially if you try things a bit off the beaten path. Fantastic broth in the clam udon. Accommodating staff, if not the warmest - having been to Japan, this is pretty standard. Also offers omakase with a day or two's notice.

The food looks very aesthetically pleasing. The taste of it is also very good and the prices are very reasonable for what it is. I had the homemade Gyozas and the spicy tuna roll, they were both very good. My friend had the Combo B from the lunch menu and he was stuffed, it was a lot of food!

Nice little restaurant, hidden gem in my opinion! We wanted to get the omakase menu but we didn’t plan ahead so that’s our fault. We definitely got out fill though, started off with salmon carpaccio which came in a smoke filled case which was pretty cool! Next was the unagi tempura which was TO DIE FOR wow unreal and then we had the kaiko roll, negitoro roll, saba salmon and tuna nigiri, 4 flavour tuna sashimi don, salmon aburi oshi, and finished off with a spicy tuna roll which was waaayyy too much food for two people but we only had three pieces left so I think we did a pretty good job. 10/10 would recommend

This restaurant exudes a serene ambiance within its cozy confines. The sushi is fresh, almost comparable to the authenticity of sushi I've tasted in Japan. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Nonetheless, the overall quality of the food and service can be somewhat erratic due to limited staffing - a single sushi chef behind the counter, one chef working in the kitchen, and a lone server. As such, during peak hours, the dining experience may not reach its full potential.
