Went on a dinner with friends during our trip to Bruce Peninsula. The food quantity is not upto the mark and taste is below average. One dish that particularly blew our mind was Schewan shrimp. This dish had very less shrimps and tons of uncooked broccoli which we weren't told of in the 1st place. Highly disappointed and had subway after.Soups were below average taste as well. Hot and sour tasted like tomato soup and egg drop soup was boiled water with egg and raw mushrooms in it.Not worth wasting money here

Friendly and welcoming staff, delicious food. The chilli chicken was especially good. Fresh food and large portions. Reasonably priced! We had spring rolls, chilli chicken, shrimp fried rice and beef Szechuan! All very good!

Wiarton Inn Restaurant & Bar
A nice, clean, Chinese-Canadian restaurant, the proprietors seemed friendly, and the service was prompt. The food was also decent, I had a very tasty Singapore rice noodle, and was pleasantly surprised that they used real BBQ char siu, instead of doing what so many other small town Chinese restaurants do by cheating with diced up porkchop. On the other hand, their pad thai was disappointing, bland, and they tried to cover up the lack of that authentic sweet/sour/savoury taste by using copious amounts of chili sauce. Maybe some ingredients like tamarind and fish sauce are hard to come by in Wiarton, but that dish certainly let them down, and in my opinion, shouldn't be on the menu. I did appreciate that they allowed substitutions to turn some of their dishes vegetarian. Overall, it was decent value, portion sizes, and flavour for the price.

Had a great experience. Great indoor and outdoor space. The indoor space kinda blew me away, as it's very bright (not what you expect an inn to be like - in a good way). Really good staff, and the food came in good time. The dishes were good, visited 2x before deciding to rate to make sure both times the experience warranted the stars - and it did. The fried banana dessert was a nice addition to a full belly, and hit that fried but creamy craving we had. It's nice that the menu had a few vegetable options, and especially now to have some tofu dishes. My partner really loved the pepper beef dish and had it both times. I loved the Szechuan veggie dish (not very spicy but packed with flavor).

Wiarton Inn Restaurant & Bar
was pleasantly surprised by the food at this restaurant! Despite some negative reviews, everything we ordered was quite tasty, especially the vegetable fried rice which was a standout dish. We also enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken and fish. The only downsides were the limited seating (only a few tables) and the fact that the menu is only available on take-out flyers. Nonetheless, the food was great and definitely worth a visit!

None of us liked the food, may be we picked the wrong items from the menu. if you happen to be there then do not try fried rice(had fish oil smell).

Food was authentic chinese. I loved the ambience.Strongly recommending for those who like homely authentic Chinese food.Waiting time was too much. But still appreciating their effort to run business in such a good way!

Wiarton Inn Restaurant & Bar
Well worth the drive if you’re anywhere near the area. The prices are reasonable and the food is awesome. I had the chance to try many different entrees because my kids didn’t eat all their portions and all of them were great.I especially like that the food wasn’t greasy, which is typical of so many Chinese restaurants. Highly recommended!

I went to restaurant.Ordered fried rice and soup.Good portion good for the price and the taste was good.Will eat again.Clean restaurant and clean washrooms.Nice size restaurant.The waitress was busy. Could have been a little more friendly. She did not come back to check if we need anything else. That is only reason for 4 stars.
