I had my first prenatal massage with Genevieve today. I can’t say enough good things! She was highly recommended to me by my fellow coworkers who had been to her during their pregnancies and postpartum as well. Genevieve made the whole experience comfortable and asked me how I was doing during the massage in case she needed to adjust her pressure or my positioning. During the massage, she even gave me some amazing prenatal information/resources that as a first time mom, I very much appreciated! I’m very much looking forward to my next appointment with her!

Genevieve has been so great this pregnancy !! I started going every week around 34 weeks due to back and hip pain. Her technique of laying you on your side and supporting you with bolsters feels so good. And then of course the massage part ! Do the 90 minutes, you need it ! And she is great at customizing where the focus needs to be for both therapeutic relief and relaxation. Thanks girl !

Emotional review ahead!I went to see Genevieve for a prenatal massage, after being on the fence for a few months.I was 39w5d and petrified of giving birth. With her background as a doula, she was able to get me to open up and talk about my fears during the massage. She truly cares about her clients and it shows throughout the treatment. The day prior I was only 1cm dilated, so I wasn’t very hopeful to have my daughter on her due date. However, that evening my body decided it was time!I wish I had the space to describe the magical birth that I experienced. I wholeheartedly believe that Genevieve gave me to confidence and the tools to be empowered and confident that my body was made to do this job and that I could do it.I don’t think thank you is enough, but thank you times a million Genevieve. She is an amazing woman with SO much knowledge and so many tools.I will forever be recommending her to every pregnant woman I know!

Genevieve is incredible at what she does. Her nature is warm and grounding, and I instantly felt comfortable in her presence. She took the time to get to know me on a deeper level, so that she could get a better idea of what might need a little extra attention. I could tell she also worked intuitively as she listened to my body, working through areas that I didn’t even know were causing problems. I am so grateful to have found Genevieve as my massage therapist, someone that I can fully relax around and who deeply cares about the work she is doing.Thank you Genevieve!

It’s taken me a long time to write this review, because there truly aren’t words that fully capture everything Genevieve meant to me during my perinatal journey.I first met Genevieve when I was 20 weeks pregnant and looking for a massage therapist who could relieve some of the physical pain that comes with pregnancy. I am so incredibly grateful our paths crossed at that time, as meeting Genevieve had a profoundly positive impact on the rest of pregnancy, labour/ delivery and postpartum journey.Genevieve provided the time and space for me to truly share how I was doing at our initial appointment, which was the first time as a pregnant women I felt heard and seen by a health professional. As a mental health therapist myself, I was truly impressed by Genevieve’s trauma informed approach to care.Given Genevieve’s background as a doula, she was an excellent source of knowledge and information. Genevieve not only provided physical relief from pregnancy but she also put my mind at ease as well. She answered my many many questions about labour and delivery during massages, as well recommended books, apps and other health care professionals that could provide support. I always left massage appointments feeling calm, grounded and empowered.Nearing the end of my pregnancy I was so incredibly lucky that Genevieve had availability in her busy schedule to also become our labour and delivery doula. Having Genevieve apart of our birthing team made all the difference for me. She helped my partner and I prepare our “birth wishes” so we were both fully informed going in as first time parents. Labouring at home with Genevieve present as well as at the hospital allowed me to feel so safe and protected which then allowed me to fully surrender to the process. I will always have immense gratitude that I was able to do everything I had envisioned for myself during labour and delivery.Genevieve has also played an important role in my postpartum recovery and self-care, by providing both massage and abdominal therapy. She has truly followed me throughout the entire perinatal period.Genevieve.. from the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything. I am so grateful to have had you apart of my perinatal journey, the Niagara Region is very lucky to have you.Nicole Nettleton

I had an excellent experience! Genevieve is very nice and friendly and makes you feel at ease immediately, she is professional and very knowledgeable. I went for a post partum massage, she asked a few questions before to start to be sure to address the areas I felt most tight and I enjoyed it very much.Absolutely recommended!

First time seeing Genevieve and I think she was amazing. Super friendly and easy to talk to. She was very informative about nerves and other things that helped you understand what is going on and why you may be in pain. We laughed quite a bit making the atmosphere relaxing. I would 100% recommend her!!

I went in for a Prenatal Massage. I am 20 weeks currently. I had a traumatic birth experience with my first son & Genevieve really took the time to understand my medical history, both physically and mentally. She asked many questions to help engage in meaningful conversation and provide the best possible care. I am extremely picky on RMT’s as I’ve been seeing one for over 15 years due to severe nerve damage and Genevieve is absolutely wonderful and I will be returning to her!
