Lil'Demon Guitarists' Pro Shop

I got in touch with Lil'demon a few months back about a used guitar they had in stock. I had my eye on it for some time and got in touch. Gian was great to talk to, very supportive, and knowledgeable. I drove a ways to see the guitar and was equally impressed with their service in person. I am beyond happy with my purchase. Gian set the guitar up great and it has ripped for months (I think I only had to tune it once). I will be sure to come back to Lil'demon in the future for service/repair!

When I came into the store for the first time, I had to step through a barbershop, where one of the employees (of both the guitar shop and the barbershop) tried to pick a fight with me because I didn’t say hi to him. He later audibly mocked me when I was trying out one of the guitars.I should have just walked out, but I wanted a guitar, and ended up buying one. A month later I showed it to my guitar teacher, who pointed out that the tuning pegs didn’t match and didn’t work properly, and said it was impossible to tune. I called the guitar shop to see if they would be willing to take it back at a lower price, but of course they said no.The worst experience I’ve ever had at any store, period.

I always find it interesting when a business gets 5 stars or 1 star. I had a great experience with the setup of my acoustic and electric. They play fantastic now. Super loose and slinky if that makes any sense. Picking up my bass today and I know it will be great. If you want a shop where 4 employees are waiting to service you go to Long & McQuade where you will never meet or talk to the person who actually works on your guitar. If you want to deal with a real human who will listen you and do great work, go see Gian. Yes they're busy and you have to wait a few minutes as he's literally repairing guitars at the same time. Yes it's hard to find. Yes you have to follow up to see if the work is already done but to me none of that matters... Highly recommend this hidden gem!

I had a brought an old valuable guitar in that needed some major repair work done to it. I had spoke to Gian on the phone about it first. I could tell he was knowledgeable about guitars and he told me he could fix it.So I brought it in and it looks better now then before it needed the repair. He fixed it for a reasonable price and close to the allotted time that he had told me. I highly recommend if your guitar needs any type of repair or adjustment you pop by Lil’ Demon or give Gian a call first.

Gian set up my Stratocaster a few months ago. since then it's become much more hot an humid, and my Strat started getting some buzz. I took it over to Lil' Demon and he made a few tweaks and got it playing clear for me. It was free of cost and took about 10 mins.Great Place!

I had Gian convert a fixed bridge guitar into a tremolo-bridged guitar (with a whammy bar). He had to model the guitar body in AutoCAD and carve into the wood and the pickguard just so to make it happen, but he did it. Amazing work, he's really one of a kind in Toronto. Thank you so much buddy!

Great service. This will be my first Google review ever as I felt compelled to post out of gratitude. I contacted Lil Demon to repair a Marshal DSL40c that was experiencing intermittent volume issues. I contacted Long and McQuade and Cosmo initially, but they were back logged for 3 months, so I gave Lil Demon a try. Gian at the shop was friendly and helpful. Peter Medvik was the one who repaired my amp. Peter took the time to contact and follow up with me about progress while he was troubleshooting and sourcing parts. In the end, it was a relay that was the issue, which Peter replaced. Peter also took an initiative by replacing a couple preamp tubes that were microphonic, and cleaned up the switches and knobs. The cost was under $200, which I felt was very reasonable, given the time, follow up, parts, and expertise involved. It also only took about a month, which is much better than the apparent backlog at the other shops.

Friendly and honest service. They definetly know their guitars well.A little hard to find. You have to go through the barber shop.

Stopped by today to inquire about a part for my old Stella acoustic. He didnt have that part I needed but came up with a solution at a great price. He was super informative, I didnt feel rushed, and also has many very cool guitars. I will definitely be back!

I have taken two guitars to Gian at L'il Demon, both for fretwork and setup. One was a big job, and one much easier. I've been playing professionally for over 20 years, and am quite pleased with the job Gian did on both instruments. They both play beautifully. He's always very nice to chat with, even when he's busy. He takes the time to ask what style of player you are, so he knows how to setup your guitar.I know there are some less positive reviews here, but I have no complaints about Gian's work. I will absolutely bring my next job to him.
