Pet Adoption Network

I appreciated the way this adoption agency vetted possible adoptive parents. They call the vet's associated with the perspective parents to find out if they bring in current animals for their annual visits and for any other medical issues the pet might have. They also get a sense of how these people relate to their pets.

We adopted Stevie just over a year ago. When we took him to his first visit he had an ear infection and something else which required meds. I called the adoption network to let them know incase this was an issue for other cats. When I went to get Stevie from the vet all the meds were paid for. I was very surprised to find the adoption place called and took care of them. They were very pleasant, friendly,and helpful. I will adopt from them again.

My boyfriend and I had a great experience adopting from Pet Adoption Network! We now have a beautiful kitty friend for our current cat. The shelter is open weekends but we met with a foster at her house on a weeknight and she was very friendly. After we submitted our application the foster kept in contact and as soon as the kitty had received some extra vet care she was ready to go home with us. It was nice PAN took the time to be sure the kitty had all additional vet work done before she was adopted. It was also helpful that the fosters are willing to meet outside of regular adoption hours since not everyone is free weekends. Overall it was a great experience and we appreciate all the hard work PAN and the fosters are doing to help improve the lives of homeless cats.

This was my first experience with attempting to adopt a kitten, and it was not a positive one. We were the first people to see the kitten of choice and but were denied because they made assumptions that my house would be too active and chaotic" because I have younger school- aged kids. They did not call to express any of these concerns before giving the cat away and would only respond by text vs calling when I wanted to discuss the process. It was a very was unprofessional experience and very heartbreaking the way the whole thing was handled."

I tried to adopt a cat from this location three weeks ago. I never received a call back after going in and filling out my application. I believe I submitted it to a man named CJ. I ended up going through Lollipop Farm! Lollipop Farm provided me with excellent service and food and coupons for my new cat.

They do a fantastic job finding homes for cats and kittens. The volunteers really care about the animals and they're well cared for. I adopted two cats from them, and would definitely use them again.

I have had two experiences so far with this adoption center, which weren't good so I would not recommend them to anyone.The cat I wanted the first time was a bonded pair which wasn't stated on the website which they rarely update. At that time I could only get 1 since it was my first time owning a kitten/cat.Then since I didn't have another cat I was denied another cat I wanted/settled for because the person said I couldn't handle a kittens energy which makes no sense because I'm in my early 20s so there was biased there definitely since I didn't have a cat before. The lady also complained about the kitten since she is in her 80s which is another biased and very selfish since they also don't allow older adopters to adopt younger kittens and cats since they think they will outlive them which is age discrimination and I will be reporting them about that as well.Now on my second attempt to adopt a kitten/young cat from them I inquired about a kitten named Diana and basically the person J*lie there told me about another cat and not the cat I wanted because Mew loves to run and play and has been roughly handled by a couple of the adult cats here

I was told the kitten I wanted to adopt could only be if I fostered other cats as well!! Then I was told I had to already have another cat at home to be able to bring the kitten home!!Meanwhile the sign on the kittens cage said “they would prefer to be the ONLY SPOILED one in the home…)I was so disappointed…. The older woman volunteer couldn’t even tell me if the kitten was fixed, if she had her first round of shots…. Then she left went next door to talk to some admin that said the kitten couldn’t be alone….although all her brothers and sisters were adopted out independently!!!Was a horrible experience and I was heartbroken… we have a beautiful home and would have provide the best of life…. Complete turn off attempting a first time adoption :(

I really enjoyed my experience there. As an international graduate with no experience of having a cat, I went there with tons of questions. I made the right choice. I spent two hours there with my wife and the volunteers were very patient and nice. They answered all concerns that I have and introduced cats of various ages for me. This visit was a comprehensive cat lesson for me and I indeed had a great time. I appreciated their kindness and would love to adopt a cat from them.
