Victoria Nail + Spa

The best! I’ve been getting gel overlay at this salon for just about a year now and I’ve absolutely loved every set I’ve had. The very first set they added tips and since then the length has been my own nails with gel overlay on top (similar to acrylics but much more durable and I feel looks much nicer). On top of the gel overlay they do gel polish for colour, I wear each set for 2-3 weeks and I’ve never had a chip or break. Love them! This salon is on Douglas street in Victoria, close to Mayfair mall. It’s easy to get to and has free parking.

I absolutely love this place! Everyone is super friendly and Ruby is so talented. She's always up for creative designs and she spends a lot of time honing her craft away from work. She has built up a pretty solid following and is always in demand every I have been there. Can't recommend Ruby and Victoria Nail and Spa enough.

This is by far the best place in town to have nails done. When I go anywhere else for pedicures, they do not bother to get rid of all of my calluses around my heels, for some reason. When I come here, they make sure that all traces of hardened skin are gone completely. After coming here once, I never felt the need to try anywhere else for manicure and pedicure. This is the very best value, and I feel confident that I won't be disappointed with the service I receive here as I have been from so many other nail salons in the city.

I visited the salon on May 20th for a gel polish and a regular pedicure. I believe the person who was doing my nails was in training. I had to remind her several times to turn on the gel light and I don't think she did a great job prepping my nails for the polish since everything started chipping a week in (see attached photos for the difference between the first day and 7 days in).I've been to this place one time before and my nails were fine so I would just recommend that the business provides proper training to their staff or make sure fresh polish is used (not sure why everything started chipping).The pedicure was good it just wasn't relaxing. I felt like the male who did my toes rushed through the whole process.Giving this place a 3 because the one other time I came in to get gel toe polish, it was nice.

Amendment: I did receive the call from the salon to come back for a complimentary pedicure. After I have receive the pedicure I will amend my review to reflect any changes.The customer service and timeliness at this salon is horrendous. Regardless of making an appointment I end up waiting 15-30 minutes for them to seat me. The last time I went I received a call two hours before my appointment asking to move my appointment an hour. I agreed. When I showed up they had double booked and I would have had to wait an hour to be seen. I will not be going back. I will say that the services themselves are well done and the pedicure specifically is wonderful. However if you are someone who values their time, the services do not make up for the lack of time management and customer service.

Natural manicure plus the Firewalker pedicure is worth the indulgence and the level of care at this establishment is out of this world. I had a few of their staff looking after me and their reflexology skills are phenomenal. This is place has been my go-to nail salon for very special occasions.There are times that I would have only the manicure done but they have no problems with doing custom nail art requests and getting them spot on with logo branding color template for special events. Nothing shows spirit colors better than your own hands.

My friend and I were looking to get our nails done last Saturday, so we called Victoria Nail + Spa for an appointment. The appointment was immediately booked, and we were greeted with kindness and given nail colours to choose from. The staff was friendly and eager to create an intricate design despite our appointment pushing past their closing time. They did not rush us out and ensured we left with beautiful nails. I would recommend anyone in the Victoria area or anyone visiting to book an appointment; you will not be disappointed! Thank you again for your time, and the gorgeous nails.

Lavender and the whole team are amazing!Had fun getting my nails and talking to her. she did an excellent job. My pedicure was also very good.Very friendly and clean place.Their products are high quality!100% recommended
