This place is TERRIBLE. I had tried to make an appointment, wasn't told it was cancelled due to weather. Then I called them again to arrange another appointment, and my message went unanswered for 2 weeks before I called to see if they were still offering the service. When I told them what had happened, they said sorry to hear you feel that way. lol. Really terrible customer service - wouldn't trust them for any service considering their lack of accountability...

Dan has helped me already. He listens, is compassionate, and keeps you talking even when you think you have nothing to say, so there are no awkward quiet moments.He really understands me.Thank you Dan (and Carizon)

Best place to come for counselling and workshops after someone's dusty toxic son. Highly recommend

I needed to update my review because something's have changed I was approved for 8 times I've gone 4 times and the counsellor I was seeing left ( she was an intern) I was not made aware of this until I showed up one day and was told it was going to be my last time. I still have 4 left but now my name goes to the bottom of the waiting list and it could be up to 6 months but I had already waited in the first place. If I had been told to get all 8 done by this date that would be a different story. I do wish Rachel all the best in her new path she is truly great at what she does .... I really liked the counsellor I was seeing. The place Is really great other than one lady at the front desk. she is always very nasty to everyone like she must really hate her job or something, besides her everyone else is super nice and friendly.

I'm not sure why the general reviews for this place is not great, but personally I feel thankful to Carizon for several reasons. I went to Carizon for their counselling service and group meeting for about half a year or so. I could get quality services for free since I had no income and were a student. It did make a huge difference in my life although I changed my counsellors several times since at the beginning they would place me with interns only. My mental health problems were very severe. Anyways I hope other people like me could benefit from free counselling services as well and many thanks to Carizon employees who were warm to me at all times.

6 sessions with someone who can't understand what im feeling.(It wasn't clarified to me either that i only get 8 visits before being put on a 6 month wait list)Biggest waste of my time..Dont recommend going herethis so-called mental service" place just gives you more problems than you started."

Favourite counciling service. Very friendly. A few councillors really arent great so if you have a bad experience just say you dont want that person the next time you go. But majority of the councillors are fantastic. Highly recommend

I am impressed by the PTSD therapy I have received and am deeply grateful for the services provided by Carizon.Unfortunately one of the major failings of Canadian “universal” healthcare is that trauma informed therapies are not covered leaving a large number of Canadians (1 in 5) suffering with a psychiatric illness dependent on a family medicine and hospital acute care system that is woefully inadequate to treat these illnesses.By helping fill this significant gap in accessible healthcare Carizon is saving lives and improving our community. I struggled and endured significant anguish for many years without adequate treatment before I found Carizon. All I can say is thank you and promise to pay it forward once I am well enough to work again.

Counsellor blamed and created issues by being harsh and making lies when I said my goals were empathetic listening. Twisted story because I didn’t stalk my relationships enough or at all inappropriately after saying my problem was that men were lying and gaslighting me. Was hoping for empathetic listening and I can’t turn into a detective for validation. Made mind abuse worse of me people all probably still have jobs. Again game to gang up on me.

I have been referred several times and today they call after a year of waiting and try to get me to explain how I atempted and my trauma, mind you I was at Starbucks and they could hear it was busy. This is unfair, I cant talk about it without panic
