Sheren Plumbing, Heating and Cooling

This one star review is for Dawn only. I have dealt with Sheren on 2 occasions. The technician and service was good but Dawn the secretary is not fit to be In customer service. I asked her to split the invoice for the 2 services the technician performed because one part was covered by the insurance. She was not willing to help at all and does not listen to what you asked her to do. And always have a NO for an answer.The second service, the technician came in August for the furnace service and found the igniter was defective he changed it. A short time later my furnace stopped working and it turned out the igniter they installed was defective as well. Dawn kept calling me to collect the charge for the service. I told her there should not be another invoice because it was covered under the warranty . She repeatedly tells me that I can’t talk to a manager now. I don’t think I will be using this company because of her lack of customer service skills.

For the second time almost a year to date we have had furnace issues during a blizzard. Dave has been our guy on call both times. He is awesome! I will be upgrading my A.C. and furnace this summer, and will be using Sheren!

They did emergency service for me the weekend before Thanksgiving. Normal rates were $108/hr and emergency were $216/hr. Tech was fast and efficient- will be using them for all my plumbing and heating needs.

Sheren Plumbing & Heating did fantastic work for us. They were very responsive as well, and set expectations up front. We had them out to relocate a washer and dryer, install a utility sink and pump, fix a shower / piping, install a new shower head, and service our water heater. Given the amount of work to do, I was surprised when only one technician showed up, but he proactively called in more help in order to get it all done in one day. I appreciate that the technician helped us understand what pump we needed to buy an allowed us to go get it while he was working on other things. As they left, the technician told me something broke while they were installing it, and they'd have to make a return visit. They followed up to schedule the visit the next day, without me having to call them. Finally, following that visit, there was a different technician that came out to do the fix. There was a miscommunication about it being a fix vs a repair we requested. I called, and Brandon immediately straightened it out, though I know he and others there were very busy. Angie, answering the phones, was also very helpful, and the technicians were prompt, courteous, informative and skilled. Appreciate the work you all did!

Sheren Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling is an outstanding business. After being referred to Sheren by a DTE service tech at 7:30 p.m. last night, I was able to talk to a knowledgeable, patient employee within minutes. He coordinated with the DTE employee and let me know what steps needed to be taken to start the process of replacing my furnace. A company representative was on my doorstep at 8 a.m. this morning to take measurements and discuss the situation. Within an hour, I had received a comprehensive, competitive quote, and an hour after that, two efficient, polite, professional installers were in my driveway ready to install my new furnace. This is remarkable enough, but the fact that it is three days before Christmas and hours before what is forecasted to be the biggest blizzard in years makes it nearly unbelievable.I cannot thank Sheren Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling enough for their fantastic customer service. They came through with a quality product, great customer service, and excellent pricing. I cannot recommend them enough!

We had our igniter go bad on our furnace today, and had no heat. I called just before their closing time at 5 pm. The woman that answered the phone was great when I asked what their emergency rate was. She took my name and said she would let their on call service know I would be calling again after 5. When I called, I was told that their tech would be calling me shortly. Austin, the on call tech, returned my call in a just a short time to confirm a rough estimate, and to let me know he would be at our home as soon as he could. He called me again a while later to make sure we still wanted him to come, and said he would see me after he stopped at his shop to make sure he had the correct part. He was at our home very shortly after, and fixed our furnace in a timely manner. Austin was EXTREMELY professional, and a knowledgeable tech! He is an asset to your company and represents their company well!!! He took the time to ensure our furnace was running great, and cleaned up the area he was working on. The emergency service call rates are EXTREMELY reasonable. Sheren Plumbing and Heating YOUR COMPANY IS THE BEST!!! Many thanks for a job well done!!!

Repairs (1 service visit plus 3 repairs so far) are consistently breaking about 1 year after they're done. Most recently this caused major flood damage at our house, requiring new flooring, new drywall, and for insurance to be involved. Our furnace is just over 5 years old and already we've paid Sheren almost enough to just replace it, not including all the damage caused to our home. The people are nice, but for the results we're getting it's definitely worth trying elsewhere. It's simply not acceptable.

Free estimate, they came out within days from when I called, the representative was friendly and efficient and got my furnace working by checking a few things and finding a minor repair that was needed when I thought we were gonna have to replace it unexpectedly. Now I can save up and I have an idea of how much I will need. Thank you Sheren P&H, we will be contacting you soon for the replacement!!!

I live about 0.2 miles away from their location which is why I chose them. Not only we’re they 30% more expensive but the lady on the phone was rude about the $10 fuel surcharge. I asked for it to be waived given my proximity and oh boy apparently that is a hot button. I hung up, called another and got better rates, schedule, and politeness. If you’re considering #HARDPASS
