Murphy's exceeded my every expectation. The lodge is very basic, I shared a room with a bunk bed. Food is pretty basic but prepared by a chef and is first rate. But the reason you go is for the fish.The standard trip is two half days of fishing and two full days of fishing. Each day you get a different guide all of which work very hard to get you into fish and are fun to be with. I could go on and on. Go to their web site there is not an exaggeration anywhere.

Just got back from an awesome fishing trip. The staff here always go out of their way to make their guests comfortable. Accomodations/rooms always clean, food is excellent, staff is very friendly and fishing is the best. All of our customers we bring say it's a once in a lifetime dream fulfilled.

There should be 10 stars! These images are different fish!What a professional guided fishing experience! Fish processed right on site! The food was outstanding. The people were AWESOME. Fishing guides knew exactly where to go, knew what tackle and bait worked.We pulled in 176+ lbs of a great variety, Halibut, Lingcod, Chinook salmon, black Sea Bass and rockfish.Highly recommended

The wildlife there is incredible i saw whales breaching the waters,eagles and one you head out for some offshore fishing theres no visible land anywhere. 600lbs worth of fuzzy mammoth awaits for your return from fishing. Lol

Have been here multiple times. Awesome fishing for Salmon ,Halibut , Lingcod and bottom fish. Fishing grounds are very close to the lodge. Great food and friendly staff.

There are some good things and a lot of bad about this place, overall I'd look for a more professional outfit next time. They consider themselves to be the best, but they're stuck in a time warp from the 80's, when small dirty hostel type accommodations with shared bathrooms, bunk beds and not enough room to swing a cat were the norm for a few guys going for a few days of boozing and fishing on a budget.The Good: The fishing was excellent, the location great, the food with the new chef was excellent, the boats were good and most of the staff were pleasant (although one of the owners was rude once). One of the guides (Luke) was more than excellent, and Senior was good too.The Bad: Some guides were lazy and one turned up late (not great when you've been woken at 5:30am and your sitting on the dock waiting for your guide for 25mins - Junior). Security is poor (don't leave valuables in your room). The rooms were not pleasant (left over food / wrappers and mouse droppings, general disrepair and not one bug screen without holes).Not really setup for couples and feels overpriced for the quality of the accommodation.

Great place to fish with Murphy's Sportfishing. Great guides and dependable boats. Excellent food to enjoy.
