Read a lot of reviews. Came in at 7 … gates opened at 7:15ish … they start taking in people at 8:30 ….was no.11 in line and was out by 9:30 with 2 passport applications done. Staff is super helpful and fast in processing applications. I do want to highlight that the lady named Manila who helps with the line ups is the best. She ensures you have everything ready and good to go before you line up so you don’t waste your time after going in and finding out you are missing something. Kudos to Manila for doing her job so professionally and with a smiling face.

Worst experience of my life. Applied for a passport back in June, 5 months after applying I get a call from the passport office saying I needed to re-do the guarantor section on my passport, I re-do it, send it back in and think everything is fine as I get no more calls. 3 weeks later they call again and tell me my ID AND Marriage Certificate need to be re-done. I re-do those and send them back in, again thinking everything is good as I got no call back. Weeks go by again and I get ANOTHER call saying my certified passport photos can’t be accepted. I take my baby and myself in, get new photos, go to the passport office, wait all day long for them to tell me they won’t accept my new photos. I ask to speak to the manager on the brink of tears and she says she’ll accept them. If something is wrong on a passport application tell the person everything that is wrong in ONE CALL instead of dragging it out over the course of 7 months. Here we are two weeks away from travelling and still NOTHING. Get it together Service Canada. You are a joke.

I was at the passport office at 0630 and had number 13 however they continued to skip me because I have a complicated passport with my children. So rather than keeping my space they continued to skip my turn. I've been here for over 4 hours and am not even close to getting my passports done. I had to get a babysitter for my baby and yet I'm still getting skipped over. Canada should be doing something about this passport office and making it a bit easier for families to know what to expect.

Arrived at 8:15am today to renew my passport, realizing when I got there that I should have been a little earlier as I was number 36 in line hahaha, however they were very polite and efficient with getting people through! There are lots of passport officers working and were able to work super efficiently. I know lots of people have bad experiences going in, but just be polite and patient and you’ll get through at some point! Expected delivery date is in the week of Jan 23, so that’s super awesome to hear as well because I don’t think it’s nearly as back logged as it once was!!

Overall I had a good experience applying for a Child passport at the Regina office. I lined up early (people were there as early as 6:30 am). Had to wait outside until the doors opened at 7:30 am. Friendly service and I was out before 9 am.

Long wait times, but professional staff. To the fun person on their staff who said most of us are trying to skip town, haha!Update: I totally recommend applying for your passports in-person, and you can just walk in to do that. Your documents being in order, you should get your passport in a week or two. If you are a large family, the delivery times may vary by a week so y'all won't get it all in on one day. Overall, a great service that has left me, well, pleasantly pleased.

The worst waiting time other than the emergency. We waited more than 4 hours to renew our passports for my wife and I. The people before us who were renewing for single adult passport were served first. Their old location was better because they have 4 or 5 agents dedicated to only passports.

I had been told to expect a long wait for my passport application to be processed. I arrived at 930am to a line outside their offices , then another line inside their office and then seating whilst my number was called.It took less than one hour start to finish and I go back next week to collect my passport..... excellent service, well done

Today, I went down to renew my passport around 11:45 am. I did not have an appointment, but was able to get in right away as the renewal" service is quick (I was told about 10 minutes). The people at the door were friendly and helpful and I was taken in the processing area to wait in line until the staff member was done with the person in her office. In fact I was the only one in line. I waited about 10 minutes and was then taken in to see the lady in the renewal office. This person was friendly and helpful and we were done in about 10 minutes. I had my renewal application filed out correctly beforehand

The wait times are often 1 to 2 hours long, but the staff are absolutely wonderful, kind and helpful. I just wish they'd hired more!
