Shafqat Ali, M.P. - Brampton Centre

Worst office to deal with. Staff has no knowledge. I followed up for over 1 year with numerous calls and emails but they don’t bother. Eventually I had to reach out to other area’s MP to get my IRCC request in spite of being a resident of Brampton Centre.Disappointed and Disapprove.

Very fortunate to have known Honourable MP Mr.Shafqat ALI and his team. They helped getting me prompt response from IRCC office within the time line they committed for my visa applications that really helped me and my family.. Many thanks to him and his team..

If I could give 0 stars or negative stars I would. Just like the previous MP, this newly elected MP's office seems non existent. I lost my 12 year career due to the pandemic and neither the current or previous Liberal MP had the decency to listen or return any of my concerning emails and telephone calls. Currently waiting 3 months for my first email and 7 days for my second email of the current MP. To those that actually got help, wow, I'm impressed, but it seems the MP of Brampton Centre only addresses situations that that fit his mandate/caucus. If you're a Canadian citizen, it seems the Liberal MP of Brampton Centre doesn't care to address your concerns about job loss during the pandemic, about struggle to pay for food and rent. Do your job, and listen to the concerns of YOUR constituents.

Worst experience with them. Can't say that the MP and staff are incompetent, but they don't want to help as they don't consider themselves as accountable to anybody. They wasted almost my 2 months by not responding and/ or lying. I have ENOUGH & UNDENIABLE material to support my stance, plus I have a list of other affected people too.I am committed to respond and waiting for a right time and right forum.Additionally LPC leadership must aware about their MPs and their office staff behavior with LPC voters and/ or supporters.I am working to fix all these things.

Shafqat Ali is very polite nice gentleman always willing to help .Some comments I m seeing confused with previous MP Mr. Sangha. MrAli is very helpful person for everyone

I don't know why central gets the worst MPs. I had contact with Kamal Khera and then Ruby Sahota, must say they are the best and always willing to help. Whereas the last Central Mp was also not willing to help and had terrible staff and this time as well. We all must choose our MPs wisely otherwise have to bear with them.

Bad MP to deal with, don't ask for support letter, he will decline. Just wait for election and see him come to your door for a vote. This is what politicians are these days.

Speaking from experience if you are struggling with receiving a specific date for your oath, I would highly recommend M.P Shafqat Ali as he speeds up the process. The staff is really helpful and prioritizes your needs.
