Cute little shop, had some great items imported from england - was not very pleased with the service though. The owner was watching us very hard, was not polite at all and made us feel quite uncomfortable in her shop… i had asked her if we could open up a small chocolate for my 2 year old daughter and she didn’t answer me and looked at us like we were crazy. I showed her the price so when we pay for everything she can add the $0.85 chocolate as well.. she just wasn’t having it.. We complimented her shop a few times and she had no reaction. I was just disappointed in her service and wish she was kinder as we were really excited to find such a cute British shop in Newmarket.

I love it here. The shop is run by the daughter but I've seen the father out in the community at some of the local British pubs. I really enjoy going to pubs in the UK and it has always surprised me how some the most important and distinctive features of a British pub seem to get misplaced when a British pub opens its doors in Canada. I've been to a British pub in Italy that was more authentic than the ones in Canada, and Canada has a significantly higher British ex-pat population than Italy. I would love it if British Imports expanded into becoming a supplier of British goods to nearby British pubs. It would help our community celebrate British culture, and it may help drive a profitable new revenue stream for this shop.

A wonderful find, tucked away just off Main Street. One of the best (and maybe only?) places to find lemon curd and clotted cream in Newmarket! The employees are also very friendly. Glad to have found this gem.

We were just walking and got hungry and discovered this bakery. Among other things, we bough steak pies ( 3) and an eclair. First of all, you must try this eclair with a coffee, its not sweet its perfect. We finished it in the car with a cup of coffee! 10/10 eclair!!Then we got home and warmed up steak pies, ah my gosh, so much meat, it was super delicious. The pies are amazing.Grab cup of coffee and try their eclair and have pies for dinner, you wont regret !

The Eccles cake was out of this world, coming back for more. The Victoria sponge was the best sponge cake I’ve tasted. Period;)
