This is my favourite place to shop ever since I've transitioned to vegan. I love the clustered feeling of the store, makes me feel like I'm on a treasure hunt! People who work here seems hardworking and nice, and this place is usually cheaper than most stores. I love Tutti Frutti <3

Great shop with very wide range of organic, plant-based, vegetarian supplies and healthy whole foods!

I like this place more than Essenes of Life where I was looking for the liquid stevia which they carry, and asked the cashier girl where I could find it. She basically shook her head without even saying a word. So I went to this place and talked to the lady working here. Surprisingly, not only was she helpful but also very pleasant. I don’t know so much about the man whom many people seem to complain about, in my opinion, people working in Essence of Life are no better and people at Herbs and Nutrition is a tiny bit better, but the lady here is really nice. The pricing is also competitive.

Similar to numerous customers' experience here, I found some good deals on select products but the customer service from what appeared to be the owners was consistently disgraceful. On multiple occasions when I made purchases, I noticed contrasting treatment of different customers (and visibly rude attitudes and behaviours towards myself) for no discernable valid reason. My hope is that the owners will notice these reviews and work to improve their service attitude, for the sake of future business.

A nice little place to buy nuts in bulk, as well as other healthy snacks that aren’t ‘health food’ per se. The candied ginger is low-quality, so you’re better off getting it someplace else. With the staggering amount of variety, you can try something new every time you visit.

Good selection. Reasonable prices. Small store with tight aisles. Sullen stock clerks and satisfactory to poor customer service. Depends on who you ask for help. Been shopping there for almost 10 years. Never made to feel welcome. Only go because they usually have the cheapest prices in the Kensington market.

Rude woman (sounded to be in her 30s, slight Korean accent) answered the phone whom kept lecturing and YELLING. I had an allergic reaction (hives) to a supplement ($30 before tax), which I luckily had a prescription allergy medication at home. It is frustrating after I spent my hard earned money at the store with the worse customer service. She had attitude from the start and repeatedly stated she was doing me a favour due to their refund policy. She doesn’t like being told she needs improvement on her lack of customer service skills and told me to contact the manufacturer myself because she disliked being confronted. I asked her to stop repeating the store policy, that I understood, etc. and that I have the right to express my concerns and she continued going off on her tantrum and played shadow with me (you know shadows when you say something to childish children and they repeat everything you say l? Well, I told her her lacking skills, etc. and she repeated them back against me).What would have been a normal courteous customer service would be to stay quiet if you cannot apologize for a customer’s allergic reaction experience and to handle the issue without raising your voice.Lessons to be learned:(1) DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE YELLED AT!(2) THIS GIVES HIVES/ALLERGIC REACTIONS: “THE ULTIMATE ONE, ORIGINAL FORMULA, ACRIVE WOMEN MADE BY NU-LIFE”(3) THEY ALSO SELL EXPIRED BOTTLES OF SUPPLEMENTS WHICH I WAS CAREFUL TO NOT SELECT

We usually make an effort to shop here in order to support local, but the owner was very rude and yelled at us when we tried to seek a return for a defective product. Experience left a bad taste in our mouths and we recommend supporting other businesses from now on.

My go-to health food store. Good selection of products at good prices. If they don't have what you're looking for they can sometimes order it. Service is fine and anytime I've asked a question the staff have always done their best to help.

I've been shopping at this place for 9 years only" if Essence of Life doesn't have my products and not once have the owners smiled or said hello to me
