Glen House Resort

We stayed here for a few nights during June 2022. Do yourself a favour and stay away. The location is spectacular! But that’s all. The rooms are dirty and shabby. The A/C was moldy and smelly and not cool. The screen was ripped so our room quickly became filled with bugs. There was a group of party girls there during our stay and management permitted them to yell and blare music and stomp about slamming doors. The group in the unit above us spilled drinks off their balcony splashing into our screen door and all over our first floor patio. The management told us that they would not intervene until after 11pm. If this is the type of vacation you’re looking for feel free to visit. But if you are looking for peace and serenity steer clear of Glen House Resort.

We knew going in that this was outdated and the rooms would be motel-like. Therefore we had reasonable expectations and no issues with the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Outdoor pool and seating and views were all amazing!!! Restaurant food was hit or miss for us. But definitely recommend for a family trip on the water and kids loved all the activities!

Beautiful quiet lake front resort with all facilities for a relaxing weekend stay. And don't miss the morning buffet. Definitely Recommended!

Stayed in the king water view jacuzzi room and it was nice, really great, but we heard the rest of the rooms are pretty dated. Staff weren’t very friendly aside from check in, it’s like they’re not very pleased to be working there.The golf course is worth it, it was beautiful. Don’t pay extra for the buffet it was awful. And even after making dinner reservations in the restaurant, they didn’t seat us and asked us to go to the pub.I would definitely go back for the golf and room stay. But will make arrangement to eat elsewhere.

Staff were simply wonderful, the resort had everything we needed to make our family reunion perfect. We all liked our accommodation and felt it was great value for the money. Gorgeous river views for all of us (39 people). Golf course was challenging and one of the nicest we have played and the local community theatre put on a wonderful rendition of “The Music Man”. Exceeded expectations and hope to return again!

We stayed while our son was in a hockey tournament in Kingston. The staff were very accommodating, keeping the restaurant open for us later, making a kids menu and being flexible with the kids! Thanks for a great stay!

Finally back in the Gananoque area after 4 years. We always enjoy staying at the Glen and playing golf across the street at their golf course, Smuggler's Cove. Clean updated rooms with friendly staff and excellent waterfront view. Debbie welcomed us back like family and gave us an upgrade. The course staff managed to fit us in for a twilight round even though a tournament was scheduled. Played a second round the next day and enjoyed the fantastic shape of the course. Have never seen it look better - clearly lots of time and energy spent on it! Such a pleasure to see everyone and everything looking so good and running so well - thanks for another wonderful Glen/Smuggler's experience!

Shared the worst dinner with 15 friends and family. Cold soup, frozen buns, cold pasta, cold prime rib, no gravey, cold potatoes suppose to be garlic no garlic in potatoes,calamari was in a brown sauce . Tiny tiny slice of cake....$150.00. I would like an offer for 15 free meals done properly. Horrible Easter dinner.

Just checked out this morning, the views of the room were absolutely beautiful. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were empty so my family and I were able to make the most of it. The game room was actually stocked with lots of activities. The resort is also right by the 1000 Island cruise port as well as right by Grananoque for groceries and dining in.Restaurant on the resort has limited options but the food was great.Only issues were that the air conditioning didn’t have a lot of settings to play with and the beds were rock hard. Otherwise would definitely stay again!
