Think of this business more like going through your best friend's attic and finding old treasures. The owner lives here and loves his job, is accommodating and fair even with packaged products - some partially packaged items available for a fairly discounted rate.Good place to play in-house and find small obscure packages that aren't sold anymore.

Bring your own mask. It doesn’t say bring a mask anywhere til you walk up the stairs at his store. If it’s that important, put it on your website. I’m buying warhammer when I come in, so minimum purchase is what, $50? So for the sake of the shop not offering a mask and instead asking me to run around the neighborhood looking for one, you have lost my business for good. I support wearing a mask, but we’re out of mandates, so you should be prepared to provide a $0.15 mask to make a a $50 minimum sale. Writing this while extremely disappointed and not bothering to cool down. I barely get free time on holidays and you wasted mine bud. Thanks!

I adore this place, just a good vibe, the owner is great and knowledgable. You almost always find parking out front too! They will order stuff for you and have a good amount on hand for those impulse buys. Its a small shop so you get to contribute to a small business which I always like opposed to ordering online. I highly recommend checking it out.

Really awesome owner, very helpful with finding stuff and chatting about the local hobby scene.And the best selection of Star Wars Legion I've found in the GVRD at the moment (Late summer 2021, hopefully this stays consistent).Only critique is that due to such a good selection, I spend more money than I plan when I go in!

Mike @ Hammer time is the go to guy for tabletop gaming. Battletech, 40K, Age of Sigmar, Bolt Action... he has it all. Army Colour and citadel paints... Whatever you need, and if it's not in stock he can get it for you. Parking lot is at the back of the store in the alley. So glad to have him here in North Vancouver.

Friendly staff, everything you're looking for.These guys will most likely have what you need if you're looking for 40k stuff. Especially if it's paints and other supplies. The staff are incredibly friendly and extremely knowledgeable. If you're new, they will go the extra mile to help you out and I like that.Sometimes a hobby store can be a little intimidating for a new hobbyist, but not here. They'll put your mind at ease and help you out. ;)This place is crucial for a budding 40k hobbyist on the north shore. Hammertime have odd hours. However I sympathize since they're such a small and niche store. Check them out instead of searching online and help support a small and niche local business.

When I first walked in I was not sure what to expect. I was new to war gaming and miniature painting. The owner was wonderful in helping me get set up, and made me feel immediately comfortable. He's always willing to share some advice or helpful insight also! The selection is great, particularly when.you consider the size of the location! The space is used well and allows for gaming in the back too!

Fantastic store! The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, the store has a diverse selection (e.g., Warhammer, Frostgrave, Starwars, D&D, Battletech), is easy to navigate, and the prices are reasonable. Also has room for gaming.Highly recommend for anyone in the area!
