I recently purchased a used 2013 Jetta with the help of Dan. He was easy to talk with and explained everything in very good detail in a way that was simple to understand. There was a minor issue with the vehicle that was not found prior to purchase and he was an amazing help with getting it all cleared up! I am very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism throughout my entire experience and would definitely go again for a car in the future!

I would not recommend them for any service issue. On Friday, October 15 2021 while enjoying the beautiful landscape of northern Ontario from our Mercedes Benz sprinter RV, suddenly our transmission failed. Being from the United States and in such a remote location, we had no cell phone reception so we used our RV’s GPS. We located one in Iron Bridge, the closest town with a gas station in the direction of the nearest Mercedes Benz dealership, which was in Sudbury ( 240 miles away). We then proceeded to spend the next three hours limping along at a maximum speed of 25 mph, reached the Iron Bridge gas station and spent the night in the parking lot of the beer store before checking into a hotel Saturday morning. On Monday we called MB Sudbury, described the situation, and got assurance they could handle the repair. We arranged towing (not easy with a 25 foot MB rig) and by Monday my husband and the RV had arrived in Sudbury, met the service manager Sylvia and rented a car for our return to the States. We thought the worst was over. Strangely then, and for the next FOUR weeks, Sylvia / Sudbury Mercedes Benz told us again and again they would get to the repair shortly. My husband was told by Sylvia at least four times “we’ll be looking at it this Thursday or Friday and let you know” and because he’d seen a large number of vehicles sitting in their lot, initially we presumed they were very busy. But as each week passed, and the weather got colder, and the realization we might be driving the RV home in snow and ice hit us, we became more and more concerned. In the meantime, we had to search out a septic tank company to go and pump out our tank (also not an easy find) and we began getting calls from the car rental company about returning the car. In frustration, on November 12 (almost exactly a month later) my husband contacted Mercedes Benz of Canada’s customer service department in an effort to expedite the repair. Within an hour of the response by MB Canada that said Sylvia of Mercedes Benz Sudbury reported that due to our camper’s weight of 11,030 lbs they did not have a hoist big enough to support the motorhome, we received an email from Sylvia saying the same. We were shocked. How could weekly assurances the repair was upcoming turn into it’s “too big a vehicle”? Didn’t Sylvia / MB Sudbury staff know on October 18 the size and weight of the RV, and if so, why did it take a month and contact from MB Customer Service Canada to let us know? Following that correspondence, we travelled in two vehicles all the way to Sudbury, checked on the camper and emptied items we’d thought would be home in a couple of weeks and returned a long overdue rental car. We then contacted Mercedes Benz Barrie and had the camper towed there. Since then, we have had no complaints with the repair process (although with only 40,000 miles on it, we can’t imagine the reason the transmission failed) and the staff at MB Barrie has acted in a courteous, professional manner. My husband’s subsequent flight to Canada and trek home in the RV when the repair was complete thankfully was fairly smooth and he reports she’s running as good as new. As far as Sudbury /Sylvia is concerned, however, we are left with a bad taste in our mouths. Two and a half months after initial contact, we feel we were not respected (something we would think important to Mercedes Benz), that Sudbury/Sylvia caused us a great deal of emotional angst, an additional trip to Canada for the rental return plus hotel expense, and an additional two plus weeks of rental car charges. Finally, and at the very least, we feel Sylvia is not a very capable service manager for a Mercedes Benz repair facility, which we feel should focus on quality and customer service.

Poor service - new salespersons in training making promises/claiming ability to provide options to get you in the door that are not able to be met/do not exist once there in person. Had two appointments where this tactic was used. Soured my experience to the point I will find another vehicle through a different dealer rather than give them a sale.

I cannot say enough about the staff and service department especially Mark. They went over and above for me. Today I was grateful to be part of the Mercedes family. Thanks guys.

If I could give zero stars I would. If you own a Mercedes Sprinter, this is not the place you want it serviced. The height of our Sprinter doesn't fit in their bays. But that's not the worst part...we have been there 2 times...once for brakes (it took almost 2 weeks...and no one told us it would take that long) and once for an engine issue which took, again, almost 2 weeks. They quote price for repair over the phone but forget to tell you the hourly cost or how many hours it will take for the diagnostics. Surprise on the bill!Bottom line, the people don't care and their customer service could use some work

AMAZING experience at MB of Sudbury.I purchased a vehicle that was serviced there by previous owner and he was very satisfied with their service. Went there myself and couldn't be more happy. Quick, efficient and honest! Special thank you to Sylvia, the service manager - she went above and beyond to make us happy!
