My realtor recommended Mr. Taskey, for my First-time home title transfer. unfortunately, I received poor service, and I was disappointed. not recommending especially if this is your first home and you do not know about the process, or if there is a possibility to encounter any problem from the builder/seller side.

I bought my first property with Chris back in 2015 and sold it in 2021 and notice his office missed to check real property report and wasn't updated. They made me to pay $624 for something they missed. Very disappointing, unprofessional and poor service.

Used Chris’ firm for selling and purchasing a home. They were given all the necessary info 4 weeks prior to possession date, and didn’t even start the paperwork until a few days before. They kept blaming it on me sending it to the wrong assistant, which I corrected right away so it they still had 4 weeks. They then said they were extremely busy, if you’re that busy you should tell the client so they can find someone who has more time to do the job. Our possession time came and went with absolutely no communication and they were not answering phone calls and emails. It then took 4 months to even get our paperwork from the sale/purchase. They blamed it on City of Edmonton for being behind but when I called them they said they only take 7 weeks to take to process and it was the lawyer who took a long time to even send it to them. This lawyer loves to pass blame on everyone else and not take any responsibility.

Chris has done my will, handled my real estate the past few years, my separation, and much of my corporate work. I trust him so much I have sent many friends and family as well. He is fair in his pricing and isn’t the lawyer who charges by the minute. He’s the guy that gives lawyers a good name.

He gets 1 star rating from me because there is no 0. Over 1 years and no progress on my father's estate. Doesn't reply to emails or phone messages. Blames his staff for delays when he finally answers a phone call. Had to contact another lawyer to start the job.

Chris has done one mortgage, two wills and is in the process of settling an estate for us. He is quick, thorough, informative and knowledgeable. It is comforting to know when something happens, I can “call my lawyer”. Appreciate the great service and expertise.

Chris & his team were extremely cooperative and helpful. All terms were explained to us in a way that we understood and felt comfortable. His fees were reasonable and the service was excellent.

Agree with DL - not organized, didn't have our paperwork ready when they said they would. Advised that property taxes would not come out of our account and they did. 3 e-mails to his assistant to get this rectified and not one e-mail back to confirm that this has been corrected. Paid way too much for the sale of a mobile home.

Very bad service. We had to wait for 2 weeks for this lawyer to write one letter to the bank and that letter was crucial for mortgage approval. So only after many calls to this place we finally got the letter we needed so badly. We are located in Calgary and when the documents were finally mailed to us, they wrote our Calgary address (with wrong name spelled ) and city Edmonton, not Calgary, I wonder how have we even received a documents !?And if you are lucky enough to get a hold of them in the office they start a conversation how they are extremely busy. So why even bother taking us as a clients if they are so busy ? I would not recommend this place.

Chris was courteous, friendly and professional. I got my documentations done to complete satisfaction. Thank you, Chris.
