I was ordering first time from here. While placing order on call a guy who talked on phone said he is a owner of the place. Unexpectedly he was so rude on phone with me I tried giving him my order but he rudely told me to come over there.

Service is hit or miss. Joanne is amazing as a server, Cynthia is an amazing cook. If I dont see those 2 girls in there, I generally dont go in. Some of the other waitresses are famous for sitting on their phones and talking to each other and not working when it's absolutely packed in there. Only 2 bars in town, this one is generally the one people go to.

The waiter knows how to cook the good bar foods. Drinks are like top shelf for a lil city, I highly suggest stopping by if your passing thru.

So went here on August 28th, 2021 in the late afternoon. We ordered our food, everything seems fine. First my dad gets his food and I get my appetizer. Suddenly, we notice other people who came in way after us are getting their food, but me and my grandmother haven't gotten our food yet. I go outside to vape, hoping our food is there by the time I got back inside, and it wasn't. At this point we were waiting over an hour for our food to arrive. My dad calls the owner to the table (he's the one who took our order) and asks him why our food is taking so long. He straight up tells us that we never ordered what we ordered. My dad get into an argument, because the owner calls him a liar. After a while the owner laughs in his face. Talking about poor customer service. We will never be coming back here.

I learned another thing about the Waverley recently and that's if you want to be treated like a 2nd class citizen go in there with a gift certificate for a meal when the old boy is working.. A friend and I went in there with 2 gift certificates which the old boy was clearly not impressed with. Didn't get offered a drink or how we wanted our steak done, just got it thrown infront of us. Horrible experience. And that's the owner yet. I don't understand why businesses give out gift certificates if it's going to almost kill them to honour it.

The food here is great. Usually order chicken wings and mushroom balls. Fries are also fresh. They don't taste like they've come out of a well-used deep fryer with month old oil.

Always great food. Cozy and warm. Friendly and great tunes pumping.Waitress has a sense of humor. That's a plus during covid times.Go there and leave your worries outside. ( recharge your sanity and batteries.)

Nice small town bar but poor steak place, you'll never hey a medium rare steak from here, I've stopped trying.
