Hi lunch when I was in Ottawa last Sunday with my colleague and loved the food, service and atmosphere. I love veggies, do asked for a portion to be added and it was delicious. The only thing that could be improved was the tuna piece was a bit hard to shew. It was fresh, but I guess the cut wasn't the best to get that melt in your mouth affect. Great welcoming staff as well. Will be back!

A bit pricey. The ambiance is alright. They make the sushi in front of you which is very cool. I ordered the spicy mayo salmon maki which was not spicy at all and was a bit too big to bite properly. Also got the assorted tempura… the vegetable selection was not to my liking but the shrimp tempura was amazing. The service was good and quick except at the end when we wanted to pay and couldn’t find the server for a while.

Service: Came here on a Sunday afternoon right as the restaurant was filling up. The staff was friendly, but became too busy to bring the water that we had asked for.Food: The sushi, sashimi, and rolls were delicious!Other: Street parking is free on weekends on the nearby streets, so it wasn’t hard to find parking.

Ordered from uber eats.Sashimi was really thick but the flavor was only ok.Ordered the spicy tuna and spicy salmon roll which was pretty good!The rest the rolls we received were ok, didnt stand out : spider roll, eel roll and bbq salmon roll.Not sure if its worth ordering from uber eats as it really hikes up the price.

We went for lunch on a Saturday, didn't have to wait to long for a table, service was great, we got a few apps and then the Maki rolls, we got the spicy salmon roll, and two of their speciality rolls, one with shrimp tempura and the other with the soft shell crab. All the rolls were really good. Would definitely come back to try some of their other offerings as well

Tried the shrimp tempura, spring rolls, avocado sushi and sweet potato wrapped sushi, Chinese maki. All of them were delicious! I would recommend going before 7pm so that there’s no waiting to be seated and the food is freshly prepared!

My actual rating would be 4.5 since it was a wonderful experience but not mind-blowing, which is ok. We had a great time. The service was great, everyone was very kind and welcoming, and the food was plenty, fresh and delicious. They accommodated my toddler very well and he loved the Bento Box. The Hanabi Boat too was exciting for him. Warm sake felt good on a rainy day. I think Hanabi provides a very decent Japanese cuisine experience.

service was very fast and the waiters were so friendly. keep in mind that they asked for the proof of vaccine and a piece of ID. for the food, the vegetable tempura udon was very tasty i would eat it even if i were full. sushi was very tasty too but it was a bit dry so i will ask for spicy mayo next time i go. as for the price, it’s definitely not a cheap option but you really get waht you pay for. i had 2 friends with me, we wereextremely full and each person paid 30bucks (tip included) which is much better than many all you can eats. overall, very satisfied with my experience.ADDITIONWent there again and it was still amazing. With the inflation, the prices were raised but I realized the portion sizes gotten much bigger. One person can easily be full with 1 dish. The service was amazing and meals come with a dessert! Definitely recommended. I tried the vegetable udon which was amazing and flavorful. I also tried Volcano and Five Guys sushi rolls (the names might be wrong) and honestly they were amazing. I will come here more often!
