They often have a spot open for you as they have a lot of hair stylists. I just always end up with the same haircut which is never what I ask. I go there when I need something quick.

I drove 40 minutes and came exactly 8 minutes late for my appointment. Joelle, the receptionist, told me it was more than 10 minutes and VERY late, even though I was showing her my phone with the time. She told me the hairdresser was already waiting for another client and couldn’t take me.

My man Mo is the man! Friendly service and a great haircut. After so many years bouncing around different salons in Gatineau, I’ve finally found a hairdresser I can go back to. Dude knows what he’s doing, bottom line.

If I could give. 0 star I would set up an appointment and on their website clearly says do not be late be there on time or you will loose your appointment. Anyhow arrived early 11 15 goes by then it’s 11 35 ask the receptionist if it will be longer and proceed to explain to me my appointment is at 11 15 with an attitude giving me the big eyes then going to see the hair dresser to tell her that I was waiting and asking for when I’ll be take with he big rolled eyes again. If you threaten me that I will loose my spot if I come late and you are late yourself you will be losing customers. I should of listen to the review and book elsewhere I needed up leaving worse service I never had thank god

My appointment was for 11 am sat there until 1-:27 before hairstylist was ready. She had a young man translator and trainee, I asked for a shoulder length layered cut, when I got home it was all uneven on sides, she gave me bangs to short, I had to go to another place to have it fix. Total disaster going there

I would give ZERO STARS if I couldI got a perm there and asked specifically not to have tight curls, I wanted big curls to give body. I even showed the lady like 10 pictures to show what I wanted. She showed me the rods she would use and I said those looked small, was she sure it would give the result I wanted. She said to trust her that she had 30 years experience. So I trusted, and I walked out with a very tight curl, frizzed up like I stuck my finger in a power outlet. I spent $200 for this + hundreds on hair treatments after. After 2 months I still hate my hair.Also, the receptionist sees people waiting at the desk and ignores in order to chat with co-workers. Also very rude and acted like I was bothering her. Not first time I encountered a rude receptionist at Figarelle.I wish I could get my money back and my hair back. I have literally been crying for 2 months every time I look in the mirror.

I don't know if the good reviews are fake or really just because those specific hairdressers were good, but what I read is far from the experience I had and I do not understand how they could get 4.2 as a rating when pretty much every women has left a bad review. So maybe this should be a masculine hairsalon...I have been there twice, both times with different hairdressers.The first time the cut wasn't bad but the styling was for a grandma.The second time convinced me to never go back except if you really just want shorter hair and don't care what you look like at the end.When I went the second time it was to have my hair professionaly cut shoulder lenght to help my migraines. I tried to show her pictures of what I wanted but she just cut me and was like yeah yeah
