Arguably my favourite cafe in Hamilton. They have the best matcha I can find. Their coffee is great. The baristas are so sweet and so accommodating. I’m so glad they opened up another location in Hamilton.

Coffee is great! Waffle was OK but felt a little pricey for what I got. Also felt I should have got a little more whipped cream in my latte for the extra dollar it cost. Otherwise a nice place to sit and have a chat with friends!

200th Review! I’ve been to Relay a couple times now. Today I got a cappuccino and it was incredible. I love the atmosphere inside and the patio on King William is top notch. One of my favourite coffee shops in Hamilton!

The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, offering helpful recommendations and answering all of my questions about the different blends and brewing methods available.The coffee itself was simply amazing. Each cup was expertly crafted with precision and care, resulting in a rich and flavorful experience that left me feeling energized and satisfied. Whether you prefer a classic cappuccino or a more exotic pour-over, this coffee shop has something for everyone.What's more, the ambiance of the shop was top-notch. The interior was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and cozy space perfect for relaxing with friends or getting some work done. There were plenty of seating options available, including cozy couches and communal tables, making it easy to find a spot that suited my needs.Overall, I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a fantastic cup of coffee in a welcoming and cozy environment. I wanted to try here cause I read it is the only place in Hamilton to roast their own beans? Don’t know if that’s a fact? But the coffee was great, with nutty notes.The coffee muffin was a huge let down unfortunately, it was flavorless and underbaked. It was like a dough flavored muffin.

Wow this place is so good! I wasn't expecting to be THIS surprised with the quality especially because the price is reasonable. It's midrange pricing but this latte I got is incredible. It's smooth and delicious. I also got a waffle and wow this waffle was so soft and delicious! Also the best waffle I've had i think. Would be coming here from now on when I'm in the mood to treat myself.-------------------------I had to come back and update my review. This place is just SO GOOD (I'm realizing I said the same thing in my previous comment)! I just had their waffle sandwich and my gosh. I love it so much. I have had poorer quality with a higher price tag elsewhere, the quality is worth every penny here. Their lattes are still so incredibly smooth. I had to bring a friend out of town here and she agreed! I am moving out of the country soon and I have to say the loss of this place will seriously be felt. The waffle sandwich, so perfect, that cheese was so good. All of it was fabulous. Also, the staff is incredible. Friendly, personable, I love coming in. Thank you for existing<3 your coffee beans will be a gift to all my friends and family. Love you RELAY staff! Thank you for uplifting my mornings after grueling night shifts. You are my essential workers!

It was my first time visiting Relay and definitely won’t be my last. I initially wanted the cold brew maple oat drink, but they were out of cold brew. The barista offered to make me the same type of drink, but with espresso. Wow, this was probably the best iced espresso drink I’ve had all year. The service was top notch, as well. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. I also love the ambiance of this place! Wish I lived closer, I’d be here all the time. Last but not least, they have a pumpkin cake on the menu for the fall and it was absolutely amazing. Just the right amount of sweetness, you need to try it!
