Valley Farm Public School
I have two kids going to this school and I feel disappointed at the lack of commitment of teachers and the administrators toward the students. The students are in the challenged academically whatsoever, no homework and teachers changing all the time...Kids are not disciplined or polite, which means no values are taught either. In my opinion these kids will be unprepared for highschool .

Very nice secretary. Recently Mrs. R Martin got replaced by a new secretary, Mrs. J. Martin (head Secretary) she is probably the nicest secretary I've ever met. She always puts your needs ahead if hers and us very empathetic towards others. In the end, the whole office team is amazing.

I would like to see a baseball Program for Valley Farm Public School. Actually the softball fields near the school could be Helpful for the practice of Baseball. I can Even Be a Volunteer as a Baseball Trainer for The Interested Kids.

From my experience, the school is really welcoming and nice. Some things I would change are the bathrooms and the outdoor teachers. The outdoor teachers need to take more action but overall it's one of the best schools in Pickering.

The new principal is kind of a jailer. Kids can’t use washrooms more than 3 times and if they ask to go they are threatened to be suspended by the teachers. So many unnecessary rules. No field trips then why do the ask for donations.

The new secretary staff is horrendous at getting info out to parents. We didn't even get our portal password by the time school started. Principal is useless. Does nothing. I also don't feel like the kids are properly challenged and taught by the teachers. Definitely taking my kid out of this school before Grade 1.

The secretary’s and the principal are both incompetent, sending important emails or emails in general and calling the school yet there’s no reply. My daughter who is in 8th grade at this moment is supposed to be graduating, but at this point I’ve not been given any information when it is supposed to be or any of my emails responded to. I’m so glad my daughter is able to get out of this school this year.
