Kelowna Paddle Centre
A place to paddle, make new friends, and learn a new sport. The facility has made a great impact in the area, bringing families, youth and kids all out to play and enjoy the lake! Regional and World class athletes also train and compete from the centre while other athletes come to cross train with water sports. Try standup, outrigger and surfski all in one day!

Great facility. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I’m biased, I’m a member. The community and paddle culture that exists within this facility is fantastic. Just be careful if you are near the Paddle Centre as people are carrying boats/boards to and from the water and might not see you. :) they even have Paddleboard rentals!

Loving the Paddling center. Joined three summers ago. I was brand new to the area and found instantly a new family there. Welcoming people and great coaches. Learning more and more skills every year.

Excellent facility offering a variety of programs with patient and knowledgeable instructors. I started with a 4 week session on the six person outrigger canoes through Kelowna Recreation Programs and enjoyed it so much that I joined the club.

It was really great and exciting. But the instructor was terrible. I had to figure everything out by myself. She didn't teach us anything.

My son loved this camp so much! We were lucky to get him into a weeklong morning camp as a spot opened up. Now that we know of Kelowna Paddle Centre, we will make sure to sign him up early for next year! Thank you to the staff who made this a very enjoyable experience for Ocean!

Joined a ladies paddle night with a girlfriend. Great intro instruction on paddle boarding and outrigger canoe. All equipment provided which was very convenient. friendly staff!

A very accessible facility in the city that offers everything paddle related. My favourite annual event is the Kelowna Waterman held in June. It’s a time to meet new people and re connect with old friends - not to mention the delicious bbq post race!
