PacRim Log Structures

PacRim was helpful in setting the order for the two units (Betty and Bunkie) and it only took a couple of weeks to have it all delivered. There were some parts missing from the kit (several screws) which they helped me replace right away and there were four fascia boards missing from the kit (which I just bought from Slegg because I needed the project done quickly). The boards that came with the kit were not big enough for the insulated roof. I'm sure PacRim would have supplied these for me if I asked (I just didn't have time to drive back there). Overall they were really helpful when I called with questions at the start of the project. We have done a lot of construction projects including pre-fab units and we didn't feel the job was outside of our skill set. If you don't have experience with these kinds of projects I would suggest hiring one of the carpenters they suggest as the instructions are not very detailed with regard to the add-ons we chose (floor joists and insulated roof). The quality of the wood, screws, metal roof, etc that came with the kits was excellent and it all came together beautifully. I would definitely use PacRim for future projects.

Purchased a shed kit from PacRim this past summer and I was impressed with the promptness and quality of service. Staff were friendly and able to answer all questions appropriately and quickly. I would highly recommend PacRim to anyone who is looking for a high quality DIY shed or cabin kit!

Best small structure kits on the market.They come with everything you need to make your own outdoor space. I put it together with my husband over the course of the weekend and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was. Once you have a level working area the rest is super simple and the finish product is beautiful.So glad I stopped in and looked at your showroom. Bought a second one already and am looking forward to come clear weather to get going on my next project.

I built two Alabama structures this summer with extra boards to add height creating 10 ft walls. Service of materials and kits to the site were prompt and it was fun installing the structures with my friends! I have recommended PacRim to my friends who are interested in building them! I can’t say enough about how easy it was to work with PacRim and how much I love my two black boxes!

This company criminally jacked their prices 30% overnight.I called to ask why the shed I was buying had gone from $5k to $7k, seeing as lumber spot price is down -70%. Receptionist was very curt and told me price increase had nothing to do with cost of materials because everything was coming from Estonia. No apologies.I originally considered pacrim because it seemed like a Vancouver Island company but the only thing local is their location.Poor customer service.Questionable marketing.They can keep their Estonian logs

Everything about getting and building a cabin from PacRim Log Structures was fantastic. The team was great to work with and has been very helpful before, during, and after the purchase. We were also so impressed with how perfectly and easy the cabin went together. The cabin (the Montana) turned out much nicer than we could have imagined! We are extremely happy with the purchase and highly recommend both the product and the company.

Best customer service in town!!We ordered a large custom home kit from the team at PacRim, and the whole experience was exceptional. This was our 6th unit purchased through this company and the care and attention to detail from the team was wonderful and top notch. Shay and Mark went above and beyond to ensure communication was always available and timely. Custom ordering was easy and stress free. We had an excellent customer experience with Pacrim Log Structures! From the first call with Cher to the site visit with Teri they did a wonderful job answering our questions and providing guidance. I was very impressed with the product (Carol). I am not a carpenter or builder (call me a handyman) with a little research and YouTube watching I was able to put our building together with no difficulties. I loved the “Carol” from the moment I saw her. Neat, sweet and not- too-petite! 48 sqft and wide, double doors suited our needs perfectly.Had to wait a bit for arrival but it all worked out in the end. We bought the foundation and the roofing package that was offered and in conversation, I had said I was doing the assembly myself. I was confused by the material in the foundation pack so with no instruction, I forged ahead and realized too late that my floor joists ran the wrong way for the flooring! I installed cross braces to correct. The roofing package that came (and I paid for) would have roofed 3 or 4 Carols and also came with no instructions. Phone calls resulted in being told :”most of our customers hire us to assemble…”Other than that, I would have rated 5 stars to PacRim and staff. We love the shed that is now stained and filled with all our gardening needs. It looks amazing!
