I came to Varsity Shoes to get my motorcycle boot patched. It was not an easy job ( I knew this from the start) and, as a result, the stitching was not as straight as I would like. I wanted to consult with the repairman to see if the stitches could be covered up with rubber to look nicer. When I walked in, he would not let me open my mouth to speak. He was overbearing and kept telling me that this is just “a shoe - not a diamond. He told me that I should not come to the store if I don’t appreciate his work. He threatened to take out the stitching if I didn’t like the result(this would have left nasty needlemarks on the toe of the shoe). All this - and all I wanted to do was ask a few questions about options. I was really taken aback by his behaviour and will not return to this store ever again.The young lady in the store is really nice but she doesn’t decide anything.

Got sole protectors on my new dress shoes. Victor did a great job, blending the new sole seamlessly into the shoe. He offered friendly advice on shoe care. Highly recommended.

I was in Vancouver for my graduation and the straps on my shoes snapped a couple nights before my ceremony. I called Varsity Shoe Service the next morning to see if I could come in that day and he was more than accommodating. I came in a few hours later and within 15-20 minutes he had already repaired both shoes! Excellent and fast service at an extremely reasonable price.
