Expensive but worth it. Sad to be visiting this place close to the end but glad I came before Momofuku packed up and left Toronto for good.Great:Branzino - perfectly seasoned, if a little burnt at placesBrussel sprouts - flavourful throughout which is very hard to do for such a dense vegetable such as thisFlatbread - this was the cheapest but also most unique and tasty thing I had . I wish they had a plain option without even butter - it is that good. Taste, seasoning and texture is beyond perfect and I will miss this the mostGood:Ceviche scallop - interesting (but not mind blowing or perfect) flavor but serving size does not justify priceKimchi - ordinaryBone in Pork belly - if you've had this at Asian establishments , this will not impress you. Well done thoughSkip it:All of the drinks are forgettable. Happy hour is decent price per volume

Excellent service, equally amazing food! The quality and flavour is worth the money you spend here. The scallops ceviche is one of the best ceviches I’ve had, bringing up the standards of ceviche. Delicate citrusy and melt in your mouth goodness. We had the cornbread and eggplant spread, the roasted eggplant packed a punch of flavour. The grilled pork belly had a slight crunch on the surface. The meat was marinated so well. The panna cotta was to die for, so heavenly!! We ordered an extra one just because! I highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place. We sat at the bar over looking the grilling station and watch perfect meat turned out all night. Ordered the rib-eye, squash and apple salad, brussel sprouts, meat platter, corn bread flat bread, and salmon crudo. The only dish that was not a superstar was the salmon, everything else was spectacular. Tried the peanut cake for dessert and was pleasantly surprised. Great place, highly recommended.

I've walked past this restaurant so many times and awed at how cool the atmosphere is. Did not disappoint, such a nice setting and view of the city. Food is very interesting with a lot of combinations and fusion flavours that I haven't had elsewhere. The bone marrow dish was my favourite.

Our favourite restaurant for birthday celebrations. We usually go as a group of 6 which allows us to share/sample their amazing dishes. The food is always excellent. So is the service. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant located in the Shangri-La Hotel on the 3rd floor. Floor to ceiling windows gave it a nice open feel and the view was nice. Loved the atmosphere and service was great. Food was absolutely delicious. We ordered almost everything off the menu. The Brussels Sprouts, warm salad, cauliflower, pork belly and steak was absolutely Scrumptious! Our party devoured all the food. The atmosphere was so comfortable, we dined in for almost 5 hours and time just flew. I heard they are closing soon, so definitely make it in before they close!

We came here for a special celebration and it was amazing. We sat at the chefs counter and got to watch as all the amazing preparation happened. Just watching the chefs work is reason enough to come and sit by the live fire grill. The chefs were lovely to talk to and all the servers were extremely friendly. The food was absolutely amazing, each dish had a sense of uniqueness but also something familiar that brought you home. Over all an amazing experience and I would definitely come back.

Overall: prices are very reasonable, plating was very good, environment was very nice, but taste of the food was very mediocre (except for the flatbread with honey and butter).Maybe it’s was because I really like momofuku and I had very high hopes for this place, but I found the taste of most of the dishes very mediocre. And I personally probably wouldn’t go back again. The flatbread with butter and honey was super delicious and unique though.

Kojin is one of my favorite places to eat when I am downtown. The dining style is family style so we shared(we were 5 adults) the 16oz Cowboy Steak, pork belly. The brussel sprouts are one of my most favorite things to eat. I also recommend the pork belly baos.....
