Doctors do not care about you.

I was told by my dentist that I’d have to remove 4 wisdom teeth. Once Dr.Martel looked at my x-ray, he took the time to explain to me his professional opinion. He determined that only 1 of the wisdom teeth needed to be removed and why the others didn’t. He’s professional and puts you at ease. I had 2 referrals and I’m glad the line got disconnected when I contacted the other dentist office. Thank you for the quality work.

First already that I was anxious the doctor did not even take the time to relax me. They said there was no Anastasist working because of covid so they couldn’t give me anxiety pills or gas to calm me down. I felt oppressed from the start, as if I had no right to live my emotions. I was shaking and hyperventilating. He was almost laughing at me for having such a big reaction. During he told me he was exhausted, exhausted to see me react like this. I was crying so my nose was running, he told me he never seen someone snot like that. Like he was paying for those klinex. Asked me you know you cry at least? Do you know it yourself? I said it was uncontrollable, it was my body reaction to the fear, he said well thats something you should control.. like i was annoying him. Really felt like a $ , like I was waisting his time.Felt uncomfortable and would not recommend.

Tldr : one of the best places I've been to)It is long so bear with me.This review is mostly for people who fear dentists/surgery.I had a broken tooth for a while. I was lucky and didn't need to have an immediate appointment to remove it. I was just followed by my regular dentist (who could not remove it due to it being so close to the jaw nerve).Unfortunately I had a very painful experience beggining this week and was very lucky to be referred to this clinic as they had a last minute cancellation. I went for surgery yesterday, and I was stressed, let me tell you that much!I was seen really quickly after making my file with the gentle secretary, and I met Karine, the dental assistant, who was very kind and sweet and understanding of my pain. She explained to me how to care for myself after the surgery, what foods I could ingest and how it would go. I then met Dr.Gravel. I fear dentists and surgeries in general, so I'm very nervous.Dr.Gravel was just... Amazing! Immediately explained to me that it was better if we removed the broken molar + wisdom tooth because it would cause me so much more problem than help. And he pointed everywhere on my X-Rays to make sure I understood and to help me make a good choice for myself. This felt so much like he was just there to help rather than make money off of me. I felt listened and not taken like a fool.Came time for surgery. Was a little uncomfortable for like, maybe 2 seconds, but Dr.Gravel was very explanative, saying You might feel this or that" everytime he did something. Oh and if you feel something? No worries
