Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course

It was a privilege to play this beautiful course and I hope to come back here in the future. That notwithstanding, course management could be improved upon.The 11th hole is riddled with practice balls from the driving range-- there were so many in the rough that I couldn't find my golf ball and ended up taking a drop. Moreover, I got paired up with the absolutely worst/rudest golfer today who stopped to take selfies/videos (among many other things) throughout the entire round and was holding up everyone behind us as well. The group behind us complained to the ranger as they should have, but at no point did someone from the course come by to have a discussion with this woman about her behavior.

A beautiful course with spectacular views. The greens still still recovering from the winter season. The staff is top notch, very helpful and friendly and always there to lend a hand bringing in your bags from the bag drop, or cleaning your clubs as you are putting out on the 18th green. The restaurant was great as well, the salmon cob salad was fresh and crisp with tasty salmon and bacon.

A beautiful course. The tees, fairways and greens were in xlnt condition...greens a bit slow. Bunkers could use some work, very inconsistent. The staff is very nice, beverage pricing a bit high. The biggest disappointment BY FAR was the demise of their famous par 3 #4. At one time, this hole was of legendary, world renowned beauty, but somehow they've lost the fronting pond. Now it's just another par three...really a bummer.

Wow wow wow. What a beautiful golf course. Every single hole gives you a stunning view of Banff. Really enjoyed playing golf here. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Food service could be a little faster but the food itself is very delicious. Try to club sandwich. You won’t be disappointed.

All I can say is WOW WOW WOW!We had the pleasure of golfing at Banff Springs GC this past weekend; what a treat! From the moment we rolled into the parking until the time we left, everything was 10/10. The views are insane; the staff were all friendly & easy going, we even had the privilege of playing with Pyk; he made me feel comfortable on the course, was our own personal tour guide on the holes. I played the best game ever as a new golfer, shot 102. My partner shot 73 - it was just the best round & day!Thank you; worth the price!

We had a great time! Golf course was still in winter conditions and greens were very very shaggy / slow. But the scenery and layout was wonderful!The staff were all helpful and very nice.We were joined up with a member who truly made our experience that much better !Maybe should have rates reflect course conditions and the snack bar was extremely slow. These things did not take away from our day at all.

The course is absolutely gorgeous, the greens are always perfect, the views are spectacular, there’s often wildlife around too. The devils cauldron (4th) is by far my favourite hole. Definitely worth the trip out. My first experience there was unfortunately a bit negative due to the actions of an employee but we were invited to come back and the experience was all positive this second time around. I’m happy to update my review to reflect that. Best course I’ve played and would love to come back soon. Thanks guys!

I’ve played many famous golf courses and this has some of the most amazing views I’ve ever seen. Played in early September and the course was in great shape. Fairways were fantastic, greens were ok. Lots of ball marks.The views can’t be beat and some fun holes. It’s pricey, but I don’t regret paying that much to play it. My wife isn’t a golfer, so she rode in the cart and she loved it because it was so pretty.

This is a must play course. Spectacular views on every hole. Course is in excellent condition, from fairways to greens. Great layout along the river in Banff. Again a must play and deserves more then 5 Stars!!
