Dr. Norman Hwang

-1 star for the very long wait but 6 stars for the professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness of Dr. Hwang.

Dr Hwang is patient and sincere. Young but very nice and experienced doctor.

All doctors are very professional BUT it's a shame that the receptionists are terrible and you can never get through the line.I called 4 times, ten minutes wait and got cut off 6 times!

Waiting time 2-3 hrs, only 5-10 minutes consultation with Dr. Huang, he is always too busy to chat. Booked 10 appointments to see various specialists in his office for cataract surgery. That’s ridiculous & unheard of from other cataract patients.Follow up visit with Dr. Huang after surgery, vision was no difference before the surgery, still can’t read far prints, was told that I requested to see closer views, so incorrect lens was given. It’s his words against mine. If I can read small prints without wearing glasses, why would I need the surgery ? Now I still need glasses to see distance n driving!!It’s a total waste of my time and money for this surgery.

My father is a senior traveller to Vancouver. We are lucky to have Dr. Hwang and his team accepted my father for his glaucoma treatment. We highly appreciate Elenca Lin’s help to us. Without her kindness, compassion, my father can’t access the honored resource of Dr. Hwang in time. Ms. Lin addressed our questions in patience and provided us valuable advice and reminders. Dr. Hwang is highly professional and conducted a series of diagnosis and prescriptions to my father. Considering my father’s situation as a traveler and how expensive it would be, Dr. Hwang provided us some free offerings in addition to regular treatments.Thank you, Dr. Hwang, Elenca, Claire and everyone helped us.
