This is a wonderful find! The room was clean. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The free breakfast was very good. The view was excellent.

Staff is so friendly and accommodating. The rooms look nice but they're dirty.. like never had a deep clean the entire time it's been there. Motel 6 rooms are cleaner.

Check in was smooth and the hotel agreed to keep our bags for us prior to check in. Our room was dated, with a very small and uncomfortable bathroom. The air conditioner was taped to the window and was a cheap model without temperature control. It did not adequately cool the room. The room was a 4/10 for cleanliness. We had a large centipede crawling on our ceiling, houseflies, moths, and a mouse was seen scurrying across the floor. The hot water appeared to have very little temperature control and was set at a level that was too hot for me.The hotel isn't accessibility friendly, so prepare to carry your luggage up flights of stairs. The last day, there was no front desk person, so all of us whom were checking out had to write our room number on a blank piece of paper with the room key (the re-use room keys), so safety was always in question for us!The breakfast was decent but nothing to brag about. It was not very sanitary. The food was basic: boiled eggs, bread/bagels, fruit, cereal, yogurt. No hot trays to keep food at a good temperature or enclosed, so summer bugs were always drawn to the room temperature items.Save yourself the headache and book a trusted hotel or Airbnb which would be around the same price range as this.

Check in was very easy, and the front desk confirmed everything via Google in advance when I inquired. The room was clean, good AC during 90° outside . Central location is great and we had zero issues parking. All in all a good stay for a night!

I stayed here before and always like the heritage vibe of this property. Both owners are amazing!! I know them both now !! One of the owner came personally to greet me and check on me if everything is fine!! Very old property and you enjoy fine morning breakfast!! Beds were very comfortable!! Highly recommended

Not accessible so be prepared for a lot of stairs!The concierge couldn't be more unhelpful when it came to parking suggestions - every hotel I've stayed at in Montreal have either given me a few places or a printout with lots nearby.The rooms were clean and modern despite structural negligence. A lot of the fixtures had rust and the wall by the air conditioning had black mould.According to the fire escape floor plan mounted on the door, we were given the smallest room in the hotel for the same price as every other room.So small the toilet and shower were in one room and the sink was by the bed.Great location, walking distance to downtown and convenience stores and restaurants nearby however at $180+/night, would never stay here again.

Steep unavoidable stairs to every room.The room I was in was absolutely tiny. Possibly the smallest based on the floor plan.There was a black mold on the wall beside the bed coming from the a/c.

Extremely clean, cute, and cozy. The staff is extremely kind, thoughtful, and very helpful. The lobby is excellent to lounge and breakfast is European style. They’ll have a restaurant opening soon. My room felt just like home! And the location, c’est parfait! Lots of action, restaurants and less than 3 minutes walking to any bus stop or metro and 10 minutes walking to Old Montreal and other major hot city spots!

The receotionist was not welcoming. Our first toom was at 10.5°C and the toilet didnt work. We had to switch rooms, which wouldn’t go hugher than 18°C. We were freezing. When we needed a firk to eat, she wouldn’t give us one. Or when we needed a garbage in the lobby, she said no.. just very odd. Wifi didnt work either. I guess thats what u can expect from a 3 star hitel. And breakfast is NOT gluten friendly, only toast, bsgels and muffins.
