They serve both meals and desserts here. The beef taco we order looks small, but it turns out to be very tasty, which is full of smoke-flavored beef, onions, and corianders. The sauce for taco is also very delicious. The chive and Parmesan pastry we ordered look ordinary, but I like its rich butter flavor of the pastry itself.

Tres Leches cake is the best. Also tried the croissant and the Mexican bun, these were good too. Lots of fresh bread and Mexican food. Would go back for tres leches definitely.

my coworkers have been buying the Tres Leches cake that’s supper yummy and to die for and to my surprise they also sell food. I tried the enchiladas and tortilla soup and was a 10/10. Only minus is paying for parking, other than that, highly recommended

The best tortilla soup and steak tacos I’ve had since I left Mexico. The conchas are superb, not even back in Mexico I’ve had a concha as good as here.

Burritos my favorites dish here. Their fillings is so tasty. Prices are good too and there is always a good dessert after each meal.

I believe this is a Mexican small restaurant inside of the river market mall.I went here with my husband because we were passing by and found out you can dine in. They got a couple of good stuff, especially variety when it comes to Mexican food. We saw in the menu tamales, molletes, enchiladas, tacos (singles ir by the package), homemade water (horchata and Jamaica), burritos and so on.They also sell bread but the one which is very similar sold back home for example conchas, bolillo, telera (for making molletes) and some small cookies that can have flavours such as dulce de leche, chocolate or cinnamon. My husband and I decided to have lunch here and we ordered one beef burrito (for him) and 3-tacos with a side of refried black beans and red rice. The tacos I had were tinga, steak and cochinita. Honestly, the meal I had was good but it can be improved because the tinga had a strange res sauce flavour and the steak seemed a little too dry. The cochinita was my favorite taco because, for some reason, the red onion, was very well marinated and the sauce was not too spicy or dry, it's one of the best cochinita taco I've tried in Vancouver.I also had a horchata water (which is red cinnamon sweet rice drink) and it was delicious, not too sweet but enough for me stop being thirsty.I've been in better Mexican places but this one is not bad if you wanna give it a try.

We were at River Market with a friend and my daughter needed a snack, so she bought a cookie and a cup of Horchata from Pamola Bakery & Deli Mexican Food. I'd walked by this place many times but never actually stopped to try them. I used to think they were just a bakery but it turns out they serve food too. Tacos, Tortas, Burritos, Quesadillas, Tostadas...etc. I will have to go back and try their food sometime!I was happy to see that their Horchatas are kept in a fridge where you can just help yourself to one, pay for it and go.The Horchata was was very nicely done. Tasty, refreshing, not overly sweet and very affordably priced too. This place is quite the hidden gem!Service: GoodParking: Paid parking at River MarketLocation: Ground floor of River Market

I really miss Pamola Bakery. I used to live in New Westminster and ALWAYS get my bread from Pamola. I could call them in the morning to save the bread or pastries I felt like eating that day, and Alfonso or Kat always kept them aside for me. Some bread are gone by the end of the day. There are so many types of bread to choose from. My favourites are white bread, olive bread and brioche. The bread have soft texture. Their other products, like Leek and Parmesan pastry and cinnamon buns are to die for. They’re delicious and large in size. My whole family love Pamola and they all have their own favourites. Sometimes, I bought their cheese quesadillas with coffee and ate on their tables which are always clean. I like the dipping sauces for the quesadillas. Price point, not too bad, let’s just say until now I still haven’t found any other bakery better and cheaper than Pamola in all Greater Vancouver area. All of their staff are wonderful and they always remember me!! You should try them!!

I recently got a strawberry shortcake for my birthday and it was one of the tastiest cakes I've ever had. I don't have much of a sweet tooth and often I can't finish a slice on my own. But this cake had the perfect balance of sweetness. I could eat it all day. I've also tried the tres leches cake, which is very good. We tried the Mexican hot chocolate too, which is lovely.I like that the bakery also has bread crumbs and pizza dough available. We'll be back again soon to try the savoury food.
